The March of Men || Benjamin, Kris, & Tessa
There had been a constant debate in Benjamin DeWitt's mind on what should be done about the group and the missing mother. Rose had been missing for far too long, without a single sign as to her whereabouts. And while the last thing he ever wants to do is leave someone, especially someone as gentle and kind as young Rose, behind, the group still held importance. Leaving them somewhere, where the group had been attacked, where Rose had been stolen, it simply doesn't sit right in his gut.
Benjamin had asked to speak with the few members of the first council they had built. Kris and Tessa. He had been surprised by Kris's decision in Tessa, but he hadn't questioned her aloud. It would only causes unnecessary arguments that he would not need. A young girl, a little girl, in his own opinion, who could fling around death threats like candy isn't his ideal choice for someone to help lead the group. But he had kept those ideas to himself. If it becomes a problem, he figured, he could go to Kris then, and there's a slight fear that maybe Kris will react as poorly as Tessa had back at the school. But Kris is mature, he feels.
Pulling at the buckle on the strap holding his metal attachment to his arm, Benjamin sits upon the bed of a spare room, waiting on the other two to arrive and speak with him, discuss the situation with Rose and the idea he had come up with. And he hopes, no. Benjamin prays that it will all go over smoothly.
