🍑Places to Study Recommendation🍑
Hi! It’s been a while since I posted an original post about study. My school life was very hectic, as usual there were many assignments to do, exams, etc. Thus I had to manage my time. In the mid of semester, I had to study more harder to face the exams. But, to be honest, I couldn’t really focus on my study at my home. So, recently I’d like to visit some places to study-- experiencing new way of studying lol. Here it is the list of my recommendation
to the anon who asked about modern, airy libraries: they won't have books, but maybe you could try one of the cafés (Wasabi, itsu, etc) near the Grand Arcade or the new complex near the station (if that's not too far) for light, bright spaces to work? or even the library inside the GA? also: personally I love the Waterstones café for studying [from a sixth form student]
Thanks so much! Yeah, Wasabi’s got that massive row of tables by the window, that could work quite well!
June 04: Studyblr Challenge
I’ll add my own twist to today’s challenge (Places to study: a public library), because I’m busy, and it’s summer, meaning I don’t really have anything to study. However, a public library really can be a good place to study because there is practically an unlimited amount of resources for research, other people that you can ask questions if you’re confused, ask well as librarians, and free computers, most likely. I personally only really study at home because I get easily distracted from being in public as the extrovert I am, but a quiet environment such as a coffeehouse or library would be the best for anyone trying to make progress.
Hey, are there any good places for a group to meet up on campus and do work, but later at night (like past 8)? Would the library work if we have to talk loudly?
You can always book a private group study room at the library, or find an empty classroom (I would recommend this).

Hey! I had a question about this room I discovered on the LIfe science building. So its like a room with tables and seats ... Im like super awkward and I wasn't sure if I was allowed in it or whatever so I just casually and quickly took a peek lol so is that one of the study rooms? or is this like one of those tutorial class rooms ... Its when you enter the LSB and turn into the lecture areas but turn around the corner of the lecture rooms ... Thanks In advance!
That’s the study lounge :) (I believe that’s what you’re referring to). There’s a chalkboard/or whiteboard mounted on the wall too right? If yes, then yea anyone can go there to study or just chill. A lot of the science students go there during exam time because it’s a good place for group study.

With summative assignments and exam season upon us, the work load may seem nearly impossible to wade through.
On top of it all, a packed library may mean you’re spending more time searching for a seat than hitting the books. I ventured around to some of the city’s alternative study locales in search of a prime location for productivity. Here’s what I found.
