100% accurate. I’m picturing drunk Shen Wei seeing ZYL and doing the Stare of Adoration with bonus Happy Smile and Zhao Yunlan just totally blown away by how fucking pretty he is. Shen Wei is so happy because he knew Kunlun would never break his promise and they’re married and back at the hotel before Zhao Yunlan realizes his name isn’t Kunlun.

Now it’s got angst built right in! Poor Yunlan waking up convinced that this angel mistook him for some guy named ‘Kunlun’ and is just too honorable to mention it or divorce him. But instead keeps running off without explanation, presumably to regret his life choices.

The BCE reveal is going to be so much more dramatic if they’re married already.

Yeah, the whole “Zhao Yunlan thinks Shen Wei might be a murderer” thing is canon, but Shen Wei actually being a serial killer is almost definitely inspired by stuff like this.  I love it, personally, he’s just fucking with them and Zhao Yunlan’s sitting there like “I’m embarrassed for us, but so fucking proud of him, look at him, he’s making fools of us, I’m so turned on.”

I haven’t watched them on Viki because I’m too lazy to turn off my adblocker for them. If there’s a big difference in the subs, let me know? I must see all versions :)

Fingers crossed for 7 and 8. I can offer nothing but good wishes for 9.

I have accomplished 8, and am working on a solid outline for 7! 9 is probably not happening today, not unless they start paying people for fanfic.

Although one of the neighbors did have Krispy Kreme delivered to our house this morning as a surprise, so I guess I did profit a little?
