The visuals for the new Plague Inc. expansion look very cool, and you can bet all the money that I'll be outside Ndemic Crations HQ banging pots and pans together the second midnight of April 1st rolls around.
In the bathroom straight jorkin it. And by it... Heh... I mean my worms
Plague Inc Evolved
Plague Inc: Evolved is a real-time simulation game centering on the creation of a pathogen. The goal is to create a pathogen strong enough to cause a global pandemic and terminate all human life. It is a re-master of the original Plague Inc. for PCs and consoles.
Players control the pathogen. After infecting patient zero, many variables must be controlled and altered in order to maximize the effects of the pathogen so it may consume all human life on the planet as quickly as possible. There are different game modes and scenarios to play through, all posing different challenges.
There is now a paid DLC called Plague Inc: The Cure in which the point is to rapidly find the cure for a rapidly-growing pandemic as quickly as possible. Otherwise, the public might lose trust in the cure.
The prompt deals with disease. More specifically, with the engineering of disease. Mad scientist and evil organization lovers, this one's for you.
There are many angles to take with this one: from killing a character who falls prey to a pathogen, to writing about a scientist killed by their own creation, or to consider the perspective of patient zero dying maybe not because of the disease proper, but because of the experimentation conducted on them.
Sentient pathogens are also acceptable, since in the gamplay proper the player controls the pathogen. Anything derived from any of the game's different modes and scenarios would also be covered by this prompt.
If one considers the DLC's perspective, the prompt expands to include the creation of cures. Cures that may be unsusccessful, or have unforeseen, deadly side effects. Perhaps both ideas can be combined into one. They need not be mutually exclusive. As usual, sky's the limit.
Any non-Plague Inc: Evolved idea which still adheres to the core principles of the prompt would also fall under it.
after all the times i went back to play plague inc evolved, i think i'm going to buy my own copy. i remember once achieving bacteria, virus, fungus, parasite and simian plague, with only prion, shadow plague, necroa virus and nano virus left.
A flying sans
