Plance with Colds
Yo guys I have a cold and it really sucks

TIME FOR SOME PLANCE HEADCANONS!!
-Okay so Pidge has the WORST immune system. She always gets sick as soon as it gets cold out, and so she’s pretty used to it. Most of the time she just pushes through it and gets her work done like normal, but since she’s been in space, whenever she gets the sniffles, Lance is immediately her personal caretaker.
-Pidge will sneeze and Lance will swoop in out of nowhere, scoop her up in a big fluffy blanket, and set her on the couch surrounded by pillows. She always laughs and insists that she needs to get her work done, but Lance tries to tell her that if she doesn’t lay low now, she’ll be more miserable the next day. She used to ignore his advice, but there had been too many times where he was right, and she ended up even sicker the next day, she learned to just let him dote on her.
-Lance will cook her chicken soup--with Hunks help of course, because he burned it the first time he made it by himself. Hunk was like “Dude, how do you even burn SOUP??” and Lance was like, “Don’t even ask….” Lance will also sit with her while she rests, and recite word for word some of his favorite Disney movies. Growing up with so many kids in the house, Lance had memorized too many cartoons to count, and even though Pidge isn’t the biggest fan of cartoons, she loves hearing Lance do all the different voices.
-Now Lance hardly ever gets sick. One time the entire castle got a bad case of the Altean version of the stomach flu. (It was a horrible week to say the least, and Lance, being the only one healthy, spent the whole week making sure everyone drank enough water and doing laundry.) However, whenever he does get sick, he always gets it really bad.
-Im talking hot to the touch fever, fainting spells, really intense sickness (just imagine langst sick fics I think we all get the idea haha) Lance is usually pretty oblivious to the fact that he’s sick, and he never notices until everyone else comments in surprise on how pale and wobbly he looks, then he’s all like, “Oh yeah…. I guess I am feeling a bit off…” before just falling over
-One weekend, when Lance had a really high fever, Pidge kept him company in his room, playing video games and humming his favorite songs to him. Lance kept telling her to go hang out with everyone else, and that she didn’t want to catch whatever she had. But she insisted that she wanted to stay with him. “You’re like my personal nurse whenever I’m sick, at least let me sit with you!”
-Lance also tends to let all his pent-up emotions out whenever he has a fever. Pidge didn’t know this the first time he got sick, and was very surprised when she looked up from her laptop to see him clutching his blanket to his face and shaking a bit. She threw her laptop to the side and immediately asked what was wrong. He started going off about earth and how much he missed his mama, and how she’d always cuddle him when he wasn’t feeling good, and how she’d always make this special family soup for him-- His rambling quickly turned into incoherent sobbing, and Pidge threw her arms around him, whispering over and over that she loved him and that he was okay. After that, she had Hunk help her recreate his Mama’s special soup so that she could give it to him whenever he got sick again.
