So awhile back I decided to code my own astrology script bc I’m curious and nosy and I wanted to see if my horoscope was gaslighting me.

You might think astrology girlies are silly but I literally wrote my own Python script bc I didn’t trust anyone’s calculations (how Scorpio of me lmao).

Ended up teaching myself astrology AND computational astronomy all bc I wanted to verify my horoscope and what it meant. Wdym now I know things like:

The swiss ephemeris

Pyswisseph library

Julian day calculations

Planetary positions (& satellite tracking but that’s another thing)

Transit calculations

Etc etc.

I’m no physics academic but there I was doing celestial mechanics lmao.

It works great but it’s nowhere near where I want it to be yet (it’s been on hold since I’ve been focused on my many other projects).

Definitely one of the most fun random projects I’ve worked on. I should probably get back into it.

But anyway… who wants me to read their birth chart via Python for funsies? 🤪🫶

Too bad for those people...what this current celestial interlude is aggressively demonstrating is that the point of communication is not just merely small talk or communication for communication’s sake, the point is to connect with others. To keep the mental waters moving in everyone’s stream by utilizing the art of dialogue. An intellectual intercourse, if you will. Most take this art for granted, yet it’s one of the most elemental externalizations of energy used to connect to others. Many will be forced to think. Maybe even think twice.
