Easy Chocolate Pudding 1 large ripe avocado 1/4 cup organic raw cacao powder 1/4 cup organic raw honey 1/4 cup organic almond milk 1 teaspoon organic vanilla essence *optional: few dashes of ground cardamom Blend in a food processor & chill in the refrigerator. Top with fresh raspberries or dried (gives it a nice candy crunch tartness to it) Alternatively, you can use this as an icing replacement if you omit the milk. It will make it thicker, richer, more decadent and dense to hold shape. Just double or triple recipe as needed. Kids and adults alike will enjoy this!

The multitude of reef species that took millions of years to evolve cannot adapt quickly enough to the human-induced speed of the warming and rising seas. I recently learned that animal agriculture contributes more greenhouse gas to the atmosphere than all the transportation industry combined!? Crazy!? Changed up breakfast today. Made a frozen organic banana protein base with a ton of good stuff in it then topped it off with some organic frozen blueberries, some pumpkin flax granola with vanilla almond barley chia cranberry bits. Frozen banana protein base was a smoothie left over from a batch I made to freeze cubes of for Kainoa's snack when he wakes up from his nap later. It's made up of 2 frozen bananas, half a scoop of @sunwarriortribe vanilla raw vegan whole grain brown rice protein powder with 1tsp gelatinized maca powder, 1 tsp of spectrum decadent blend of chia flax seed with coconut & cocoa, 1 tsp of hemp seeds, 1 tsp almond butter, 1 tsp of organic honey, 1 tsp of organic vanilla, 4-6 pcs of cashews 1 cup or so of unsweetened vanilla almond milk free of carragean. #plantbasedfortheplanet #babybreakfast #theficklekitchen (at theficklekitchen.tumblr.com)
