Looks like random posts are popping up over here. Life has become a bit hectic with a 4 year old turning 5 and a baby on the way. I've been a little distracted is an understatement. Just keeping up with the dailies has become a big challenge so posting here has somewhat been pushed to the bottom of priorities but I'm back...for now. As with babies on the way, lots of prenatal visits are in place now that I am on my third trimester - which gives me a chance to visit my favorite hospital Bistro (yes, it sound weird) but I love my birthing hospital’s muesli so much. Actually, quite addicted to it, that I tried to replicate it but added more Omegas to it. Success! They are an Adventist Hospital so pretty much everything is Vegetarian/Vegan and seriously, damn delicious. Pretty stoked to be birthing again in a place that has it's own birthing wing and appetizing food.
• ¾ organic oats •2 tbsps of chia •1 tbsp golden flax meal •1/4 cup chopped pecans
All of the above soaked in ¾ to 1 cup @califiafarms Toasted Coconut Coconut Almond Milk Blend with a splash of @so_delicious French Vanilla Coconut Creamer sweetness and added creaminess.
Fill it with enough liquid til it’s all submerged to soak overnight.
Served topped with organic apple bits & berries.
So darn good!
Yep, I re-used the hospital cafeteria’s plastic container to make sure it is about the same serving amount. Will use some mason jars now that I have the measurements down.
