Next self-care tip; Salt Baths. Relaxing, hydrating, and releasing of toxins and stuck / attached energies. • My base: epsom salt and Himalayan sea salt. Many possibilities for additions depending on what you feel you need. Here I added a capful of Florida water and a few drops of Plant Therapy's Let it Go EO blend. Both are releasing and calming. Other "never-fail" additions for release are citrus juice (🍋 lemon is my preference) and parsley. Many various herbs can be added as well, to utilize their essence or spirit. I often use cedar or pine needles, goldenrod, violet, rose, and more depending on how I feel. (Tip: to avoid clogging your drain, brew herbs into a tea, strain the plant material out, and then add the liquid to your bath. You can also add them to a sock or stocking and tie the stocking to the faucet so that the water runs through. I prefer option 1.) • If skin is dry, I often add a splash of oil such as almond, olive, etc. • You can also add in any stones or crystals you wish to harness the vibration of. My favorites are rose quartz and grounding stones such as obsidian and shungite. Choose stones that are stable in water (for instance, selenite isn't a good choice here). Some stones don't do well in salt water, but this is a relatively low concentration of salt for a short period of time. Even so, I do take care to rinse all the stones afterwards to remove any residues. • I often also burn white votive candles and/or incense while soaking to contribute to a calming, clearing atmosphere. • This is a good time to do a meditation or journey, especially if you often find you need additional grounding AND provided you don't tend to fall asleep...(!) • I often quickly shower beforehand, as that in itself can release not only actual dirt, but also loosely attached energies. The bath then takes care of "deeper" work needed. If you're doing energetic work (on yourself or others), going through a tough period, etc, baths daily are best. For calmer periods, once a week or as needed. 💦🛁💙 • #saltbath #epsomsalt #seasalt #herbs #plantessence #crystaltherapy #stonemedicine #floridawater #clearing #grounding #hydration #relaxation #selfcare #selflove https://www.instagram.com/p/CD9vjpTJj_N/?igshid=2x8jtg1bnvnd
