My second pic for Andy halflock‘s birthday today! I’ve wanted to forever draw his Plantlock SHERLOCK AU, so I decided I would draw it for him for his birthday. That and I really wanted to draw Sherlock fanart...(like I need an excuse). And freckles. I LOVE FRECKLES.

It’s nothing exciting, but I absolutely love the face on this one. Weeeeee! Hope you like it! :D

Sherlock gasped as Mycroft's roots twined with his, a vine curling around his waist where it met soil. He wrapped a hand around the vine, fingertips brushing over it, tugging lightly at the small leaves sprouting from it. A groan sounded in unison from them as their roots pressed together, curling and brushing over one another.

Send me a ship and an AU setting and I'll write you a three sentence fic.

Okay, but imagine John planting a handful of seeds when he's just old enough to stand in the far corner of a field near his home and it grows into a pale tall Aspen. Its shade become John's favorite place as he gets older, its where he reads and does homework, eats and hangs out with his rugby mates. As a joke one of his mates says he's got to be in love with the tree. John just laughs along and smiles and life goes along. It's taller than a house by the time John leaves for the army and on his last day at home he carves 'JHW' into the pale bark. He comes home from Afghanistan to find nothing more than a pale stump in place of his tree. Though a man, tall and pale, wrapped in a dark coat and darker hair sits on the stump like he's been there all his life and smiles at John as he approaches.
