MAX FLIRTY HEADCANONS
warnings: heavy flirting/banter, chat shipping/teasing, protective!max, in-person dynamics, reader mentioned as fem/gn, lots of secondhand embarrassment from chat
plaqueboymax x reader (fluffy headcanons, flirty friendship)
• when you hang out in his room while he streams, max will constantly throw you into bits. like, if chat asks why he lost, he’ll gesture off cam like, “yeah, blame her, she’s distracting me.”
• chat always begs for you to sit in frame, and max acts annoyed — “bro, she’s literally just chilling, relax” — but then he scoots his chair back so you’re visible anyway.
• he’s way too comfortable tossing your name into conversations. like, if someone asks about food, he’ll say, “y/n’s literally the pickiest eater, you don’t get it,” and grin at you off-screen.
• if you walk past the camera, he’ll lean back in his chair with that smug smile and go, “yeah chat, she’s real. stop freaking out.”
• chat goes wild whenever you hand him something on stream — water bottle, controller, even just a snack — and he’ll exaggerate a “thank you, sweetheart” in the cheesiest tone possible.
• during breaks, you sit on the edge of his bed scrolling your phone, but he’ll keep looking back at you like he forgot he was live. chat always notices the glance.
• you two have this banter where he fake-flirts shamelessly (“so when are we getting married, btw?”), but you toss it back just as quick, which makes chat scream even louder.
• sometimes he’ll finish stream and you’re still there, and chat spams “after-stream date???” — he just shakes his head and says, “y’all are insane,” but he doesn’t deny it.
• if someone in chat pushes the ship too hard, he’ll smirk and go, “only i get to clown her, relax.” it’s lighthearted, but lowkey protective.
• when the camera’s finally off, the vibe softens — still jokes, still roasting, but quieter. he’ll toss you a grin like, “you see what you do to them? you’re ruining my brand.”

You can hear max saying as you walk down the stairs,
You hadn’t really met max before this maybe a few phone calls telling you information about the show but nothing face-to-face.
You walked down the stairs embraced by Max’s warm smile and a hug.
Ngl. You weren’t expecting him to look this good… atleast for a host.
“Welcome welcome to in too deep” max said releasing you from the hug with a big smile on his face practically looking you up and down scanning you body.
“Damn she looks good” he thought in his head
But he had to get that out of his head if he was gonna host this show properly.
“Is there anyone you seen that you like the look of or wanna talk to?” Max asked wanting to add suspense to your entrance.
“Yea and am looking right at him” you said smiling while eyeing him up and down.
Somehow you managed to make him smile harder and even got a little chuckle out of him,
He rubs his hand down his face trying to wipe the smile off his face. It doesn’t work
“Well I’m just the host so yk I can’t really give my input on that” he said while staring deep into your eyes. Still smiling.
“Oh well that’s too bad cause so far ur the only one I’m interested in fr.” You said smiling your ass off.
“Well in that case I might have to arrange something for us if you can’t find someone else to connect with” he said while leaning into your gaze,
Then he gets the signal that he has to bring in the next guest
“Well I’ll see you around here I gotta bring in the next guest”
You don’t say anything except giving him a cheek kiss and walking away swaying your hips as you walk off.
You can feel his eyes following after you.
Then it clicks in his head and he remembers he has other people to introduce.
I really hope you like this one I feel like it was so bad lol but this is my first fic.
