Making Monster Island (or first attempt) haunted: Gabara new take idea

I’ve seen ideas about making him a dream demon or something, but why not go for a different tone on that?

Why not make him a physical being but still unearthly?

He appears and vanishes, seeming to change size (yeah I stole this from Minya).

Has strange electrical powers.

He’s intelligent and stalks human staff.

What is planned to be monster island is his HOME, and he does not like what these intruders are up to with their plans to bring other kaiju to it.

I admit this is going away from the “bully” aspect and making him somewhat sympathetic in some ways, but new takes are always interesting, right?

Give him weird powers akin to Greenman appearance, where he could absorb people like the Blob, spit noxious smoke, and even detatch and throw his claws.  The idea is to make Gabara a mix of Ultra Q and Goosebumps style horror.

I imagine the ending is they move operations to others in the chain,leaving Gabara in peace, but have the island monitored and even sealed off sorta like the start of GVKK.

edit: Another idea: give him the ability to copy sounds by using his horn likea plasma-arc speaker.

This was a omnidirectional tesla looking speaker I built, though there is not relationship to the mechanics of a tesla plasma speaker, it worked. 

However, I used the “it worked” & “was” due to the fact I dropped it! 

This is the first glimpse of my Sparrowlegs Speaker Design Tesla prototype, and I have been hiding it from my Facebook Page as well as various groups on the web - Avoiding the question of how it works!!!

New pokemon idea

A fire/electric type based on the concept of a plasma speaker with a lot of sound moves

Plasma speakers or ionophones are a form of loudspeaker which varies air pressure via a high-energy electrical plasma instead of a solid diaphragm.

I memed.

We are number one played on my TL494 based plasma speaker. It can sound even cleaner but I for that I need better MOSFETs.  I had some good FETs but they’re dead now.

I finished assembling (/soldering) my plasma speaker, so, here's a video of it in action. (Playing Sburban Jungle from Homestuck). I have a loose nut on one of the screws just for the arc of electricity to jump around. For those unfamiliar with the concept of a plasma speaker, the sound in this device comes entirely from the visible arc of electricity.
