Think about those poor sea creatures eating your plastic waste. We’ve all seen it. Did it scar you? It scarred me. If you say to yourself “just this one time”, “just this little bit of plastic won’t hurt”. You are wrong. I’m sorry. Those little moments add up and what if everyone think like that? We are screwed. We are already screwed, but it doesn’t mean we can’t start now. Start today. Start this Lunar new year. With whatever item you are about to throw in the trash can; ask yourself is this recyclable? I ask every time and often times @terracycle will answer your questions. We are not perfect, but at least we are trying. . . I have been collecting plastic bags around me and at work. From garment bags to bubble wraps and clear sealed packaging; they can all be dropped of at a grocery store near you ( not @traderjoes ) and ( hopefully) make into recycled plastic bags. Yes more plastic. They can be recycled, but not safely discarded, so the best way to not consume it at all. 🤷🏻♀️ . . .
