Platformer Development - Race Against Time Concept
After forming my elevator pitch, it was time for me to implement the three main mechanics I mentioned within my potential game "Race Against Time"; those being:
The double jump mechanic
The wall jump mechanic
The parry
Since last week, I have implemented two of the three mechanics for my platformer. However, due to time limits, I was not able to implement my parry/attack mechanics. Hopefully, this can be something I can put into the Asteroids Development that will begin in the next couple of weeks.
Above is a segment of the platformer I have been creating over the last couple of months. Unfortunately, I will not be able to finish it but it will definitely be a project I will continue to work on in my free time. Maybe you will see it in a future portfolio of mine?
