LOOOOOOOOL. Mark?! Really?! And I always thought yb’s stage name was.going to be stump.
CAR, DO YOU NOT REMEMBER THIS? I forgot when T.O.P talked about the stage names he was considering before his debut, but it was a few years ago and he mentioned that Mark was one of the names they considered. IT WAS INCREDIBLY BAFFLING. Mark? W....hy???
And NO LOL IT WAS BIG BANG. They were all, "Oh yeah, when the YG staff were trying to pick out our name with us, we were thinking of APEX, Stump, and Diamond." I think GD campaigned HARD for Diamond (wth Jiyong, sometimes I judge your taste so much), but anyway, they went with Big Bang which still took a while to get used to.
But Stump though. I keep thinking of a limb stump or a tree stump, not like...stumping the crowd or something with...their...skills...or whatever (it still doesn't make sense). I don't know why they ever thought this would be an appealing name. =___=
