I like henderhop. It's a very adorable ship, and I'll defend it at the end of the world. But I have a bone to pick with its fanbase because even when Dustin is involved in this ship, I feel he still gets mistreated and is treated like a purse dog just like how it is with dusteve duo. Even worse, there will be a m11 to call him something ableist or has an undertone of ableism to it like it's their life's mission because it "excludes el from her ship" as if elmax and hopclair doesn't exist (no shade intended).

Dustin (and his actor) will always be mistreated one way or another but ig no one is ready to talk about the ableism bc no one actually takes it seriously

discuss: was he a good or bad brother when he was a delinquent? i say he was even though he got into a lot of fights before. he fought on behalf of you once when someone was acting pretty harsh towards you (or, if you're both the type to just fight it out, team up against said person)

but all that violence is all in the past. he wants to become a better student, and at the same time he wants to set a better example for you as your twin brother. though, the damage has already been done and you've seen everything...

but that doesn't mean he's not gonna try and work on himself and his attitude! he'll start by being absolutely more polite— and to be honest, the sight probably shocked you (after all, he was... well...)

truthfully, he might go to you for assistance in schoolworks if you're better than him in that aspect. if you're having trouble in a subject he understands at least, then he's willing to help you out. you two help each other out often (and if you were also like middle school deuce, he's kind of helping you become a better version of yourself too)

any sort of broken appliance? did someone smash your phone to the ground just for the fucks of it? deuce is here to (do his best and) fix it! (as well as Maybe almost going after the person who smashed your phone...) he's willing to help! to the best of his ability!

you two used to get really competitive physically, now he's trying to compete against you in academics. he's trying his best to be a honor student, and if you push him he may just even try his best to beat you in quizzes or examinations (no pun intended)

tell him i said good luck in algebra!

oh, but deuce isn't (extremely) mean to you! he cares (why do you think he attempted to chase after whoever destroyed your phone) and will be there if you want to say something to him or get something off your chest for a bit

hold him back when he gets violent in situations where it's unnecessary though please . he apologizes if ever he hurts you physically

overall, he really does want to see you do well in life. work hard just like him, alright? even if he's technically the one setting the good example (in this scenario) , set a good example for him too, okay?

She's so going to guilt trip him about it when she feels better.
