Hello I thought I would drop this here because your inbox is currently open and is in line with the request rules on the master post. (Please correct me if I’m wrong.)
Anyways! Would you be interested/willing to do a agere request with a caregiver reader & little Aduece duo? Just something indulgent and familial.
Of course, sweetie! Thank you so much for taking a look at my rules before asking!
Though, I myself am just a little and don’t have a caregiver, so please forgive me if any of this is written a little weird! I also figured bullet points would be easier to write and understand, so I hope that was alright! (I also used gn!reader because a gender was not specified)
• First, let’s get what kind of littles they are out of the way!
• They definitely bounce off of each other, when one goes down, the other is very soon to follow
• Out of the two of them, Ace is older when little, being more of a toddler regressor (between two and four) while Deuce is a baby regressor (between newborn and one)
• Ace definitely is the type to wear shortalls, silly graphic tees, cute ankle socks, and Velcro shoes because it’s easy for him to mostly dress himself (while regressed he insists he’s a big boy) and easy to move around in
• Deuce is more of a fan of long sleeved snap crotch onesies, and long socks (he wears his crocs in sport mode when outside and feeling big enough to walk/toddle) because he likes how soft and comforting it is to have the fabric hugging him
• Ace says he doesn’t need a paci, but he will get cranky and fuss when it’s time for a nap because he doesn’t have his paci in his mouth and he has cried because he lost it once (it fell out of his mouth during a nap and was under his pillow)
• Deuce prefers to be quiet while little, so he usually has one of his pacis in his mouth thumping softly or muffling his voice while he babbles (no talk means no big boy words and no big boy words mean to big boy thoughts and big boy thoughts hurt baby’s head), and if you really want him to giggle and babble, get his little chick plush and pretend she’s tickling him (her name is Cheepie)
• Ace has a ginger cat plush (his name is Cherry Burger) and he is always carrying him around and taking him on adventures, despite occasionally making fun of Deuce for having Cheepie on his bed while big (but Ace will cry if Cherry Burger has to go in the washing machine even though the poor thing is covered in dirt and spilled juice due to Ace being a bit rough and taking him everywhere and insisting he needs juice time too)
• Deuce is sleepier than the always moving Ace, usually just napping or sitting quietly on a blanket with Cheepie while Ace runs around outside, but he will sometimes feel big enough to run around with Ace (he follows him like a duckling and usually ends up crawling after him if he gets tired of walking)
• And Ace denies it, but he always slows down when Deuce joins him in moving around outside since he knows he’s not good at walking while regressed and he always tries to stick to things Deuce can do with him so he isn’t left out (he does not play active games that often, so Ace wants them both to enjoy it)
• Also, they both end up having to wear pull-ups when little-
• Ace just gets too focused on having fun and chooses to ignore his bladder until the last minute while Deuce’s brain just slows down gently and allows him to just be peaceful without worrying about the next assignment or test, so he ends up realizing he needs to go after he’s wet himself (and since he’s mostly nonverbal and only babbles, he can’t really let anyone know when he needs to go and piddle, so pull-ups were the best option)
• Now for caretaker time! (Let’s just say reader is Yuu just to make this easier)
• At the beginning, they both were too embarrassed about their regression to tell anyone, but you kind of figured it out through subtle clues
• Ace would occasionally get really fidgety and extra pouty when asked if something was wrong
• Deuce would seem to zone out and have trouble talking when his stress seemed to overflow
• Ace would play with his food occasionally at lunch and spill things while talking with his hands about something mildly incoherent
• Deuce would end up nibbling on his sleeve or sucking his thumb when he spaced out and thought no one noticed
• Eventually it got to a point where when you all were hanging out at Ramshackle, you’d mindlessly care for them
• You made sure Ace had a sippy cup instead of a regular one, gave him finger food snacks instead of anything too messy, asked him to go on walks with you when he was cranky but wanted to move
• You talked to Deuce with simpler words and only asked “yes/no” questions so he didn’t have to talk, you read him simple picture books you found, you ended up buying a teething toy from the mystery shop to stop Deuce from nibbling on and getting drool all over his sleeves
• You all just slowly melted into this relationship without much thought
• You made up a guest room to be their “little room” where they spend most of their inside time and where you store their clothes, pacis, sippy cups and bottles, and pantry snacks so they don’t have to worry about anyone randomly finding it
• Sam eventually took notice of things you bought for them and special orders a few things for you that you get a major discount on because you’re definitely his favorite “little imp” (I need cg Unkie Sam in my life)
• So, things like specific snacks, toys, and especially pull-ups aren’t too hard for you to squeeze into your budget, especially when your little troublemakers start giving you a bit of money as a thank you and to help fund the pull-ups and snacks they go through
• You end up being called “Sibby” a lot and it becomes a telltale sign that you’re about to have two troublemaking little boys on your hands
• While you love them both equally, you do appreciate how well-behaved Deuce tries to be and how quiet he usually is (again, he is an eepy boy when little) but that doesn’t mean you go too easy when he ends up causing trouble with Ace
• The duo might drive you nuts sometimes, you try to not raise your voice at them, but they’ve told you that the stern disappointment you give them likely stings way worse than if you did yell at them
• But they do try their best to show their appreciation for you while little!
• Deuce will happily sit on his finger painting tarp and make all sorts of pretty pictures for you, always giving them to you when both he and the tarp are covered in dried finger paint (you learned after the first time to just leave Deuce in only a pull-up when he wants to paint) with the biggest smile on his face, and he always beams and claps when you thank him and pin it up on the wall next to his other masterpieces
• Ace will be your personal little helper and even pick up all the toys in the little room and straighten all the pillows in the lounge and rinse all of his dishes and make sure that he takes off his shoes at the door since they’re usually muddy messes after one of his little “adventures” and overall try his best to keep things clean (he will get shy if you thank him, pat his head, and call him a good boy)
• All of you agree that sleepover nights are the best, especially when it’s about time for bed since you usually spend the night in the little room with them
• During bath time, you help them with their hair and let them handle washing their bodies (you always have to mime how to do it for Deuce because he forgets every time), but you do have to help them dry off and get into their pull-ups
• While Ace picks out his jammies (they’re all cat themed to match Cherry Burger), you help Deuce into one of his cute little chick onesies (his bedtime onesies have feet <3) so he can match with Cheepie, and once Deuce is comfy in his onesie, you help Ace into his jammies (usually a sweatshirt and some soft play shorts)
• And after you get in your own pajamas, you tuck them both into the special beds you made with that magic furniture hammer (they’re just beds with pull up guard rails so that they can either have toddler bed or crib vibes)
• Ace snuggles into his heart print blankets and you kiss his forehead and give him his paci, and Deuce is snuggled with Cheepie under his egg print blankie and you gently push his paci back into his slightly agape mouth before pulling up the rails on his “crib”
• Your bed for the night is in between them so that they can always see you if they wake up from a nightmare (you’ve had to wake up a couple times to let a crying Deuce out of his crib so he can sleep with you and Ace always joins you while sniffling because they somehow always have nightmares at the same time)
• Breakfast is another one of your personal favorite things, mostly because it’s cute to see your sleepy boys eat their morning num-nums
• You usually give Ace cereal with bananas and whatever fruit you have to slice, plus you always add a special blended “juice” that he loves which is actually mostly veggies (that boy is getting his dang nutrients no matter how much he throws a fit)
• And Deuce gets very much veggie-loaded version of his mother’s special omurice recipe spoon fed to him (remember, he’s baby and he no like the icky feeling of food on his hands) and a bottle of warm milk because he really likes milk
• You have cute high chairs for them, too, because you’d rather just clean small trays than your entire dining table, plus them swinging their legs when happily eating or drinking with their little smiles and little bibs around their necks is just SO cute!!! (You painted them at one point, so Ace’s has light red hearts and Deuce’s has baby blue spades)
• Also it makes wiping their faces easier because they can’t exactly get away no matter how much they squirm (by “they,” I mean Ace)
• They’d be embarrassed about it, but you’ve taken pictures of them while little with your ghost camera and have a whole scrapbook full of little time memories
• Like a very sentimental mom, 90% of the images you have are very embarrassing
• There’s a few bath time ones, a lot of them looking at you while very clearly not noticing that they’re wet, half of them are of them cuddling while napping, cute pictures of when their faces got messy while eating, a few of Deuce all messy while finger painting, some of Ace almost completely covered in mud and hugging Cherry Burger, one of you bottle feeding Deuce that Grim somehow took, one of you holding a sleeping Ace that Grim also took, and a whole bunch more
• The boys found the scrapbook once and sat silent with faces a brighter red than the grand roses of the Heartslabyul rose maze while you fawned over the scrapbook, pointing out your favorite pictures and explaining the context behind them
• You never shared anything about their regression with anyone without explicit permission, so you had no one else to share the cute pictures with!!
• Another favorite thing of yours is when the boys ask you to join in their playing
• Ace will ask you to play hide and seek or tag when Deuce feels like running around with him, Deuce will ask you and Ace to help him build a block tower (he babbles excitedly while holding foam blocks and waving his arms), and they just love it when you ask them to do an activity with you
• But the best thing to them is story time!
• They love it when you read them picture books and do silly voices while showing them the pretty illustrations in the book
• They also just plain love you, their Sibby who takes care of them and loves them
• And you love your little Kibby Cat (Ace) and your little Chickadee (Deuce) because they’re basically your brothers and you would burn the world down for them because look at those little faces!
