So, one of the problems with doing a video trailer for a play is that plays are often in rehearsal all the way up until they open and design elements are added all the way up through to previews.
MTC does a good job of getting around this by having the actors and artistic team talk about the play, giving it context, and showing little snippets of design (like the white model).
The trailer/promo also has a narrative structure in how it is tucked into the “story” of behind-the-scenes at a photo shoot.
This vid certainly made me curious about the production.
