We were M’s mystery readers today! It’s my favorite. Like seriously. . In preschool (precovid), I got to volunteer in their classrooms often. Now, this is about as close as I get, but I’ll definitely take it! The look on her face when she realized it was me…can’t beat that! . We read some Easter books. K tried to push buttons on the keyboard the whole time but (miraculously) didn’t disconnect us 😉. . Yesterday, M helped me make playdough (always using our fav recipe from @iheartnaptime ) and then she worked really hard filling eggs to the brim with it. She was so proud passing them out to her friends today— I love seeing how special it made her feel 💗 . And who knew filling eggs with playdough could be so much fun? M and I had so much fun making these orange playdough pumpkins for her class last week. . Our favorite playdough is from @iheartnaptime — it is soooo soft and last such a long time. By far the best. I ordered orange food coloring on Amazon so that we didn’t have to mess with combining red/yellow. And then I drew the outline of faces and she colored them in. Lots of work for my 4yo! . She took it to school and I surprised her as the mystery reader 😍. We read this awesome book — such a great fall / Halloween choice! — then she got to pass out her playdough pumpkins. She was SO proud. MONTESSORI ACTIVITY | HOW TO MAKE PLAYDOUGH Here's a highly requested super simple, non toxic, no bake, no cook recipie for play dough. Can be made from ingredients available at home. We have made batches and batches of this because kids keep sticking it on their toys n we keep running out of it. INGREDIENTS: 🐰1 cup of all purpose flour (maida) 🐰1/2 cup of salt 🐰1/2 cup of warm water  🐰Food coloring or water color METHOD:  🐸mix all dry ingredients i.e. salt,maida in a bowl. 🐸now divide this into 4 equal parts 🐸add 4 different colors to each part. 🐸u can use a few drops of food coloring or watercolor 🐸 Now add water little by little to one bowl and mix well with a spoon 🐸 Knead it well till the dough ball is colored uniformly and has a stretchy feel to it.
