Black Friday Ask: What is your current favorite game to play and why?

 eRiovhmm.  Tough.  Depends on the system. 

PC: Jedi Fallen Order was fantastic, but the replay value isn’t all there as i had hoped.  The harder difficulty in Grand Master is much akin to the parry timing in Sekiro, and it’s got a much longer story.  I would also recommend picking up Monster Hunter since Iceborne is coming to PC in like, 2 months. IF you are more into RPG’s I would HIGHLY recommend The Outer Worlds (Free if you have Xbox Game Pass for PC which is only like.  4-5 bucks a month).

PS4: Pretty much just using this for my fighting games, so things like BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle and SoulCalibur 6 are great buys for sure. 

Switch: Pokemon Shield has been a blast, loving the music on that one, Fire Emblem Three Houses has kept me entertained and interested in playing more as well.  

Sleepers:

-Mistover.  If you love Rogue-like/lite games this a beautiful game to pick up.  Much like Darkest Dungeon, this is a fun romp, with a bit of an unfogiving streak in the early goings on, but the characters and the combination system in the 3x3 grid more than make up for that. 

-Indivisable.  Lab Zero (The guys that made Skullgirls) are back and they wrote a love letter to Valkyrie Profile.  Fun story, solid combo based combat with the ability to make it more complex with fighting game commands, (If you wanted to) and a great roster of characters. Give it a look. 

-River City Girls.  In the wake of the 80′s and 90′s there was a MASSIVE amount of Beat ‘em up games.  Double Dragon, River City Ransom, Fatal Fury, Streets of Rage... The list goes on.  This return to roots with a modern flair is a SOLID reason that this game is on this list.  These girls don’t back down.

-Death end Re;Quest.  JRPG’s your thing?  Idea Factory (The team behind the Neptunia line of RPG’s) decided that dark, mysterious and spooky was the name for this game.  If you are into something that is a bit more on the side of “Mental” horror this is the game for you.  it’s not all about the Jump Scares of modern horror games, it engages you with a quest of figuring out why you are still “active” in a game that was shut down, but seems to still be running.

Got to see them

So I ended up going to my mum’s yay so happy I got to see her and my brothers wish I could’ve stayed longer but oh well. Played on the Wii with my little bro then played on the Xbox 350 with the other too. Also played monopoly with all of them n mum. Of cause mum won. But it was fun so that’s the main thing. Now I’m on my way home yay -_- 12+ hrs till I’m home.
