Add a playful twist to classic cookies with this Fun Dip inspired recipe! These chocolate cookies are rich and delicious on their own, but they become a true delight when dipped in Fun Dip and coated with colorful sprinkles.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1 egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips. Assorted dipping sprinkles and Fun Dip packets.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the mini chocolate chips. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are set around the edges but still slightly soft in the center. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once the cookies are completely cooled, prepare the Fun Dip packets according to the package instructions to create dipping liquids. Dip the tops of each cookie into the Fun Dip liquids, allowing any excess to drip off. While the Fun Dip is still wet, sprinkle assorted dipping sprinkles over the dipped cookies to adhere. Let the dipped cookies sit until the Fun Dip coating and sprinkles are fully set. Serve and enjoy!
