Kicking off our 23rd Season with a brand new collaborative production!
Monday, September 19th, 2016 marks the start of our 23rd Season of Monday Nights at PlayGround, our monthly play-reading series at Berkeley Rep. As the season opens we are starting with something completely fresh and new, The Potrero Nuevo project is PlayGround’s attempt to explore our new neighborhood through a theatrical lens. Alumni playwrights the likes of Maury Zeff, Martha Soukup, Ignacio Zulueta and Ruben Grijalva tackle the multi-layered and multi-faceted past, present, and possible future of “The Hill”.
