It's not just about hitting her until she has marks, choking her till she cries, or forcing her into degrading or sexual positions. It's about treating and healing those marks, wiping those tears and positively reinforcing those positions. She needs to not only feel owned, but loved. It's easy to treat someone like property, but the mutual respect you have for each other, and the after care you provide let's her trust you more. She'll be willing to do more, if she knows you're there to pick her back up.
Remember to treat your sub with respect, even if you don't say it. She'll only be a good girl/boy for Daddy/Mommy, if you're worth being a Daddy/Mommy.
