Guitar tips nobody will tell you from someone who has been playing their entire life

1-dont start out on your very favorite songs you'll hate the way it sounds in comparison (try "bad" genres like folk punk if this is a problem for you)

2-some parts of learning are extremely annoying having to shout fuck at least once or twice is normal

3- it's fine to take breaks from playing just know you will be rusty when you get back

4- sometimes if something is far to hard get something else because most skills are transferable
