His wolf familiars gathered, playing with sphinx familiars and surprisingly not killing or harming them. They seem to be getting along, weirdly enough that he's entirely convinced that weren't simple familiars. He's not actually sure what they're called, but the knowledge given by the Throne of Heroes makes it apparent that they were not abundant during his era. So when the owner came to view, the wolf made his familiars disappear which was annoying considering the fact that he wanted to communicate with the sphinx familiars.

having a bad reputation among Caesar's legion helped me with money, btw. Sure, their patrols kicked my ass early in the game when I didn't have good armor and weapons, but when I killed them, I would collect the armor and some guns off their bodies and sell it to Chet at Goodsprings (it sometimes had a high price).
