Heyyy! New weekend, new Death Mark art!~ ^^ Hope everyone's doing well! Also, I wanna say thanks again for all the nice comments I got to my other art pieces the last few weeks! Thank you for all the support, it really means a lot! <3
This is a first attempt in drawing a wallpaper kind of piece for Death Mark. Since I could barely find any works in that format, it meant I just had to draw one myself, haha. I'm gonna use this as my desktop background for a while. Feel free to do so as well if you like! :) The idea for this actually came from fanart I stumbled upon, where Yashiki is trying (and failing) to play violin. But I really liked the idea that Yashiki would actually be able to play that instrument, I think it would suit him. :) Also, my other justification for this is that Yashiki comes from a rich family and it's kind of a rich people thing to teach their children how to play at least one instrument. The rose tendrils were added just for an asthetic touch, they're not really supposed to mean anything, but of course you're free to interpret it however you like. Lastly, I added some WIP-steps again, in case anybody is interested in that.
Btw, If anyone cares, I liked listening to music from Lindsey Stirling while working on this (my favorite tracks being "Shadows" and "Underground"), which was very inspiring and fitting to the mood. Just in case anybody doesn't know her music yet and would like to check it out. ^^
