I'm actually playing with a scissors, lying down in bed and using the phone. Passing the scissors between my left fingers like how you would do with a pen or pencil. Tbh, I'm ok with this and the blades of the scissors feels nice. I have no idea why I started this. I was bored?
I'm still working on my fanfiction for Motorcity. It's coming along slowly and it's a LOT longer than I thought it would be but I'm having fun writing it.
The plots pretty simple. I have the Burners, Claire, Thurman, Ruby, Tennie and Red in this underwater lab and they have to escape to the surface. I have a love for those "You must escape or die" kind of manga like "Doubt" or "9 Persons 9 Hours 9 Doors" for a video game example (I effing love that game). The only change I intended for the characters is that the Burners don't know each other and had never met prior to the events in the fic. Otherwise everything is about the same as the canon... er... well up to a point at least lol.
I really can't wait till Julie is in the story. She should appear in chapter 2 or the end of chapter 1 (which I'm no where near finishing). Because she doesn't have the team she's been working to take down her dad by herself with some support from Claire. I wanted to play with the idea of what the Burners would be like without meeting each other until much later. With the exception of Chuck, I didn't imagine it to be a very drastic change. Ah, but admittedly Julie's characterization was getting derailed. She was really coming off as icy, which is somewhat fine but I made her too cold. I had to re-write my plans and really look over my notes 2 or 5 times to keep everything in line.
If that happens again I would appreciate it if someone called me out on it. I really value getting characters' personalities and tones right so I would be really freaking grateful.
