I really have to take a second to share the magic of @playoncon with everyone. It’s a convention unlike any other I’ve been to, I got booked to produce a comedy show there and I am absolutely blown away. A 4 day smorgasbord of gaming, art, partying, and hotdogs that walks a beautiful line of being family-friendly and providing plenty of 21+ entertainment set in the heart of rural Alabama (but with plenty of air-conditioned event spaces), my heart is so full. I got to play games I’ve never played, watch a mad science fair, see some amazing singers and burlesque performers, compete in a karaoke showdown (Congrats Wendy!!), twerk as a hotdog for a very supportive audience, tie dye a shirt, got a bullseye in archery (even tho my form is abysmal 😏), watch the sunrise in a giant pool party, try malort, judge a malevolent karaoke contest, and perform comedy to a crowd that made me feel like I was the funniest hotdog alive.
