For the Writer asks: 18,20, 38, 45, 41? :)
Thank you kindly for heeding my call, Nonnie XD
18) Do you have any abandoned WIP’s? What made you abandon them?
I have some from back 2015-17. Tokusatsu fics that I never really continued since I stopped watching tokusatsu. Maybe 2020 will change that :)
20) Are there any stories that you wished you’d ended differently?
As of today, no. I keep going until my brain decides I’ve included all I wanted to include and it is a satisfying ending. Hardly ever it is what I originally imagined anyway.
38) If you could collab with any other writer on here, who would it be? (Perhaps this question will inspire some collabs!) If you’re shy, don’t tag the blog, just name it.
I already have a collab with my sometimes annoying wife great friend @littlecrazyfangirl-98 :)@bunnygeneral @cuddlememerrick pretty sure we could cook something up together as well :v
41) What’s your favourite minor character you’ve written?
Every single Star Trek minor character, like lieutenant Zahra, even though I haven’t actually written her.
Right now, I think I’ll go with Sophie, one of the kids I wrote in ARITS chapter 2 :’) John Grimm with kids is a very damn cute concept, excuse you.
45) What spurs you on during the writing process?
Great question. I have no real idea myself?
What spurs me into writing, I guess, is the characters. I love me some plot, sure, but I love me some good characters more. No good plot is sustained without good characters.
I’d hope I successfully dwell into who they are, what they feel and what they go through, how they can come together (I kindly direct you to The Scars Will Remain). I know this is particularly true with A Reaper In The Stars, since... I don’t often see the 2 centuries between Doom and Star Trek getting written out. Is this a wild idea? Yes. Definitely. I don’t regret it either way.
... And also, writing the sometimes highly specific things I want to read. And improving my writing style and construction and what have you. I do in fact want to be a published author one day. It’s all good practice.
