do you guys ever like . forget how normal tickling is? how its just a thing that exists that basically every person in the entire world is passively aware of?

sometimes it feels like us in the community are the only ones who know about it . even though thats objectively not true. every time i talk about tickling in a normal context with normal people im like "wait will they know what im talking about" (obviously yes they will)

and how much about tickling is like. NOT normal to know? i cant tell i have ZERO mental gauge for it!!!!!!

inspired by the fact that i have a comic planned that INVOLVES tickling as the punchline to a joke and if i wanna post it, im gonna hve to post it on my main (bc the fandom is small and id be recognized instantly)..........and like. objectively its fine. but i keep thinking "will normal people get the joke? what if they can sense im a freak" "is this even funny to a normal person?" "what if they dont know what ticking is and i look stupid"

Soooooo how do we feel about a duel-person choose your own adventure fic?

I am working on it but life's really busy rn with my exams coming so it will be posted EVENTUALLY. Maybe by June or in a decade. Idk. But just wanted to put the idea in the world to know if it's good or no.

Basically I've been thinking of this fic where SJ and SY are twins. Common trope in SVSSS fanfiction. Here's the twist:

You grab a friend to read this fic with and one of you reads Shen Jiu's POV while the other reads Shen Yuan's. Both of you read separate fics that have separate choices to make in your own POV, with secrets you gotta keep from the other.

For example, a chapter might end with Shen Yuan holding a sword to Luo Binghe for both.

So for the person who's reading his POV, the options are to either A) Throw Binghe or 2) Face the punishment protocol. He picks A, and then tells his friend about the choice. For his friend, the chapter ended with (Shen Yuan is making a descision. Options were A or B)

So Shen Jiu's POV picks A as well.

The next chapter starts with Shen Yuan doing as the option said, but for the person who's Shen Jiu, they didn't know about the system (at least, Shen Jiu doesn't) so he wonders why his brother would do that, while Shen Yuan mourns his disciple.

As the story progresses, based on your choices, Shen Yuan may end up telling Shen Jiu about the system. Or he may not.

It is very important that you don't spoil your reading partner outside the fic.

And once the story ends, you may tell the other person your reasonings for your choices, swap povs, or try again while making different choices.

Basically, both of your options affect how the story will end, and how much information gets revealed.

It sounds confusing but I will mention at the end of each chapter who needs to make a choice and which option to tell your friend when you do pick.

Aka it won't be that confusing when you actually read it.

I am thinking of alternate versions where you can read it yourself without a friend but the whole premises of this is the unpredictable future and the fact you're not the only one that's controlling it.

Death note au where original light just gets transmigrated to the death note musical, the only problem is, he doesn't know how to sing or th lyrics for that matter. So everytime a music just plays he just stands there confused while everyone is staring at him to sing, I don't know, where is the justice. At first he just ignores it thinking that it may have been a prank by the class. Then he finds the death note, and the music plays again (change the world). Looks around to see if anyone was singing. No one is. What?

Imagine when he meets L and he reveals that He's L. Light hears the music, and he groans. Like what is he suppose to say, he can't say shit, so he just smiles at L and waits for him to finish his speech (which was fast). And then goes to the podium to do his speech and he hears L just singing his part, loudly. While light is doing HIS speech. Yeah sure, just sing your thoughts why don't you? Reveal to the whole world you're L? So light just hates him.

(And then misa just barges in out of nowhere to sing about making a song with hidden clues to meet kira and light just thinks. Yeah, no, I'm not gonna do that. Because he thinks L heard her, but apparently everyone has selective hearing so--)

This reminds me of guy who didn't like musicals, except Light has parts there, he just doesn't know what the lyrics or how to sing it. So he just stands there. 🧍‍♂️
