My parents came to America from a third world country called Cuba. Many of you probably know about Cuba cause yayy lance was born there, but Cuba isn't just some island in the Caribbean it's full of poverty and starvation. I'm lucky that my parent got me out of that country and put me in a place I could be something for more then just a couple of pesos per month. This new law they're trying to enact, net neutrality, we need to stop it. Coming from a country of limited freedom I know it when I see it. This is one of the first steps, they are trying to control our internet for profit, they are trying to limit our access to knowledge, our access to communication, they are trying to control us. In cuba there are books banned, and the only TV shows you were allowed to watch were old Russian ones. They banned our information they banned our knowledge of the outside world and the same thing will happen here. This is what they're trying to do. They're trying to make us slaves to money, slaves to corporation. They're trying to kill us off and we can not let them do this we need to fight. We need to protest, go to whatever senator, whatever mayor, or governor you have and call them call the shit out of them. Sign petitions. This country was made for the people not the profit. The government should be scared of us, WE SHOULD NOT BE SCARED OF THEM.
