Sooo, we wanted to do this over a month ago but better late than never I guess! We’re doing “fake commissions”!
The thing is, you tell us to write/work on a story or zine or translation, but you don’t get to choose what story we’ll write on or how and you don’t get to own it - that’s why we’re not taking money either. It’s more that we need someone to nag us and gently push us to actually write, or we’ll forever put it off. Our goal is to work on something writing related once a week!
We’ll post finished stories and possibly drafts/unfinished works in progress too! So you get something out of it, if you like to read our stories and zines.
We might take actual commissions later on, too, we’ll see.
Basically, this is us begging you to nag us into writing! Send us an ask every day if you feel like it!

Unfinished projects and ideas are (under a cut because it’s a long list):
a new Meeresbande Zine
finally posting the already finished Meersbande Zine #3 tbh
several other zine ideas, for example a mini zine (about gender and multiplicity?? perhaps), a zine in lower german (regional language), a review zine, a zine where each page is filled by someone else from our system, a star trek zine
translate existing stories (and possibly zines). If you want to read one of our older stories that we’re still proud of but that so far only exists in english - about a child and a witch who find creative ways to deal with lookism - let us know! There’s also a kind of horror (?) story about a boy who’s possessed by a snake.
Finish an embarrassing fanfiction about Steve and Bucky (MCU) being stuck in an elevator (I KNOW! I KNOW.)
story about an aro ace droid
story about a human child being raised by Vulkans (idk if i really like the idea anymore though)
stories in lower german about a chosen family - different stories would be from the pov of different people of varying ages and the target audience would be of different ages, but it would all be in the same universe and with the same set of characters
werewolf story idea

story idea about two non-white trans teenagers who fight injustice - one of them is a vampire, the other a werewolf
story idea about a sidekick to a “typical” superhero (who upholds law and order) who goes through an arc and eventually opposes their mentor because they don’t like working together with police etc and prefer anarchy tbh
a novel project we started in 2011 and haven’t given up on yet, not really. About a multiple system in space overthrowing the interplanetary government!
a Torchwood/Doctor Who thing where a young Black girl becomes immortal instead of Jack Harkness (we were inspired by Quvenzhané Wallis and that gave us the idea idk)
there might be more!! we have no shortage of ideas
