What are some of your headcanons about project hail mary? Could be about stratt or grace or really anything in the story
My headcannons, u guys don’t have to agree AT ALL, includes Eva stratt, Ryland Grace, Rocky and Carl.
Definitely had religious guilt for what she done during her project Hail Mary times and probably read the bible in prison.
Thinks about Grace a lot when ever she feels happy she feels she doesn’t deserve it and why should she feel this emotion and love on this earth when she sent the closest thing she had to a friend for years to space to die.
History major in collage, she knew what she was getting herself into and knew a man wouldn’t do it and she’s okay with being “the worlds whipping boy” (said in the book)
She didn’t grow up rich, or relatively poor in German.
Avid Ahoj Brause enjoyer as a kid especially the woodruff flavour.
Definitely enjoyed Aachener Printen around Christmas time.
Probably never listened to sign of the times ever again after singing it at Grace in the bar, made her think to much. When didn’t she think about what she done. CHRONIC OVER THINKER.

Ilyukhina once asked her to drink which, she agreed. After a few drinks Ilyukhina had said she had a list of people she wanted to sleep with before going off into space, stratt immediately shut her down and left, let’s be fr tho is she was two drinks more in, she would’ve agreed.
When she sees the stars (which is rare) she thinks about Grace a-lot and even sometimes lets herself cry, cause what is a human with emotions.

Really likes the colour green
He thinks about the lingering time he spent with stratt on the boat especially on Erid when there’s nothing to do.
Asked could he get a marking like Rocky.
Even though he a teacher on Erid now, he still thinks about the science classes he used to teach and looks at the drawings from his students ATLEAST twice a week.
Nerded out so hard when he met all of the eridians. (So did they)
Always had music playing on the Hail Mary to feel less alone before he met Rocky.
When he finally notices himself ageing on Erid he hates it Rocky doesn’t understand why humans age so quickly Grace hated it he covered mirrors for a week.
Eventually read all of the worlds information start obtained.
Thinks about the family he would’ve had if he never liked science and sometimes finds himself wishing it was different but also wouldn’t change anything if he was asked then and there.
He wouldn’t have a favourite colour cause he can’t see but would tell Grace medium rough texture is his favourite, maybe that’s cause it’s named Adrian after his mate.
Absolutely over the moon when he got back to Erid to find Adrian waiting for him (book) after thinking Adrian would’ve left to mate with a different eridan.
Confused the FUCK out of Adrian one time by calling Grace “leaky space blob” to them.
Tells his and Adrian’s pebbles about Grace constantly after he passes.
Rocky gets a marking to remember his time with grace even though he could never forget grace.
Infatuated which human knowledge, wars, money, food, celebrations, different cultures, languages. (Even if eridians had they’re own)
Celebrate graces birthday no matter what.
Thinks about the short time he spent with that weird ass scientist who called the really freaking scary boss and told her they had made a baby???
Enjoyed the home depot run with Grace, it was the most fun he had in years working for the government.
After watching Grace get chased down and hearing his screaming it was all he could think about for years as he looked at the stars and wondered about him.
