Things that happen when you join the 501st:

You believe you are working with the best of the best, a group of vod that really have their osik together

You realise that the General and Commander have some pretty outlandish ideas

Recognise that when Captain Rex is alone he is a perfectly functioning superior officer.....when he is with others not so much....

Believe that maybe the plans will work on occasion

They do not

Slowly give your functioning brain cell to the chaotic hive mind of the 501st (Rex usually has the brain cell, but it gets misplaced sometimes)

Learn to avoid the 501st's inner circle (Echo, Fives, Jesse, Hardcase, sometimes Kix) if you don't want the risk of being court-martialed

Come to the inevitable understanding that the 501st does not infact have its osik together and everything is practically just one big "ehh what do we have to lose" shoulder shrug
