This is edgy. Emperor x Shaman Slave. He's cursed. He can't sleep and he deals with bouts of insanity, because his father foolishly betrayed the powerful Witch Knight who won him his kingdom.

Sharan isn't technically a witch. She's from the south, and she's a slave. She can dispel curses and such, but the Valdek Empire hates all forms of magic.

She starts to dream about a man who is suffering horribly under many curses. He is angry and frightened, and she cannot reach him.

Her brother Banchan is a slave as well. They just want to go home, back to the south. The citizens of the Valdek Empire are deeply superstitious, because a legendary female knight betrayed them. She cursed the Emperors unborn, innocent son in revenge. Now the nation is stuck with a mad Emperor, so all forms of magic are despised.

Ironically the Emperor needs a trustworthy shaman to heal him.

Sharan finds Emperor Julian covered in blood, killing horses in the imperial stable. Sharan has never met him, ever. He looks like a vile madman, who is destroying imperial treasure.

She cries out.

Julian assumes she is a spy.

Sharan throws sand at him.

She hides, but that doesn’t last long.

The creepy horse murder guy is in fact the Emperor. He was putting the beasts out of their misery. The Prime Minister had poisoned them. The Emperor doesn’t have alot of allies, because everyone is afraid of him. He is mentally unsteady due to the curse and endless nightmares.

The Prime Minister constantly lays traps for him, to make him look crazier.

The Emperor almost kills Sharan, and her brother. In desperation she offers her power. She says she isn't like the Witch Knight his father betrayed. Her powers are mostly for healing, and she's not trained in combat.

She says she knows he cannot sleep, and he's running out of energy.

Eventually his sanity will fail.

Julian knows she isn't lying. At this point he has lost most of his friends. He has killed some of those same friends. He has tried to marry twice, and both times the Prime Minister used those engagements to make him look more unfit and mad.

He must take a chance and accept her magic.

Sharan demands her freedom. Julian voids her slave contract and he holds Banchan hostage. Their relationship begins, and the Emperor...shocker is kind of abnormal. The curse from the Witch made him crazy strong and prone to both delusion and exhaustion. He starts to rely on Sharan quickly.

He'll never let her go, even if his feelings aren't love.

He just likes the way she makes him feel.

It's...awkward. The maids start dressing her in sexy "exotic" outfits. The Prime Minister keeps cursing Julian, and Sharan has to deal with violent episodes. Being favored by the Emperor kinda sucks, but it's implied that he becomes possessive....which is also bad...

Also yes Sharan is probably special and connected to the Witch Knight.

JIMIN'S TATTOO IS REAL.

From the timeline of when it first caught on that he got something done until now, all photos that have surfaced prove the tattoo is real.

It's healed, bold and sits well on his skin. I'm in the double digits of tattoos and know what to look for. The ink hasn't seeped in the edges and it doesn't looked raised anymore (compared to MAMA photos) so it's healed and actually well done. Whoever the artist who did the tattoo knows what they are doing.
