My name is Majed from Gaza. After 188 days of bombing, destruction, and losing everything we had 💔, my family and I miraculously escaped. We are now living in difficult circumstances in Egypt.

Hello friends!! One of my best friends worked really hard on this TTRPG just in time for the Holiday this week! It's a BLAST to play, I can't wait to play it around the Thanksgiving table with friends this Thursday, or on Black Friday itself.

Here's their description:

Play this game at Thanksgiving with your conservative family and force them to describe the graphic violence they use to fight their way through the crowds of sales hungry customers. Play this game with your friends while listening to Brittany Spears. Play this game on actual Black Friday instead of going shopping. Replay this game as many times as you like. Taking place in the mid 2000s, you will be transported back to the time of boy bands, flip phones, and websites that look like hot garbage. You can play as an Adult and try to complete your shopping list before time runs out, or play as a Minor and try to force your parent(s) to take you to all the fun places in the mall.

Anyway, if you don’t have a local bookstore near you, I highly recommend checking out http://www.brilliant-books.net

They’re based in Traverse City, Michigan and they’re super cool. Like, the order confirmation email isn’t an automatic form, it’s a literal person typing an email saying “Hey thanks for the order”. Once when I ordered a book through them, they sent an email saying “Hey, we’re gonna wait about two weeks to send your order because the author is coming to our store and we’re gonna get your book signed for you. If you don’t want to wait, let us know and we’ll send it out right away.”

Anyway, this time I ordered an odd assortment, and there was going to be a weird delay in shipment with the shipping I selected, so they just gave me a free shipping upgrade just because. ALSO they have a spot in checkout where you can tip the person packing your order if you want to.

So yeah, they have been really really dependent on online orders during covid, so here’s a plug. They’re really cool.
