Chitra Nakshatra: Ms. “Pretty” Privilege

No, this is not something to be proud of, you melty-faced pigs.

There is a very annoying media trope that I’ve noticed among Chitra women, which is a conventionally attractive woman getting raged at by a male, and then all of a sudden the male calms down because he is so struck by her “beauty”.

This happened in the Korean movie 200 Pounds Beauty, where a ghost singer underwent weight loss surgery and turned into a conventionally attractive woman. The actress playing her has Chitra Sun. She drives recklessly, crashing into a taxi cab in front of her. The taxi driver gets out of his vehicle and starts screaming in anger about the wreck she caused, going on and on and on and all of a sudden, stopping when he finally looks at her. A police officer then arrives to tell the group off, but then also stops when he looks at her. The police officer blames the taxi driver, and he accepts the blame for the accident even when it was she who rear-ended him. Even when the taxi driver starts bleeding from the head, there is still no anger from the males towards her at all.

In The Substance, Margaret Qualley with Chitra Sun and Mrigashira Moon plays Sue, who is renovating her apartment with a loud drill when her male neighbor gets annoyed and starts screaming at her from outside her home. When she opens the door and he takes a look at her, like the aforementioned males, he magically stops screaming.

I mean… this is all so pathetic.

And something similar actually happened to me the other day.

So I haven’t really dragged Chitra all that much on my blog (yet), so the other day I decided to go on a Chitra/Mars trine nakshatra-dragging spree. I dragged Chitra males. Everyone cheered. Then I dragged Chitra women. And people were suddenly not pleased. Here’s a comment on the Chitra woman drag post, with lots of likes to boot:

This has never happened before. I mean yes, on some of my other posts, there is the stray detractor or a member of the language police, saying dumb shit like “oHhhHhhHHhHh DhUmAVaTi yOuR LanGuaGe iS SooOoOo MisOgyNiTiC” or “oHHhHhHhH DhUmAVaTi yOu D0n’T ReALLy UnDeRsTaNd SpiRiTuALiTy”. There was even another person who told me to drink bleach. And what usually happens after that is that these vermin don’t get any reaction from anybody and end up deactivating their accounts. I’ve seen it happen multiple times. They spew their idiocy in my Ask inbox and then all of a sudden their handle becomes “@idiotpig-deactivated”.

This didn’t happen with Chitra.

As I write this, the critical comment on my Chitra post has gotten 14 likes in total. This kind of pushback has never happened before on my blog. And the comment said my post should have stayed in the notes because it was a “hate rant”.

I mean…….. Let’s be for real right now.

My entire blog is essentially an extended long-form hate rant. Everybody and their grandmother knows this. And yes, I am extremely proud of it.

To be fair to the commenter, maybe they were a later follower and so maybe they weren’t aware of my usual bitter, haggedy style of expression. But anyway, in other words…

My Chitra post is nothing new under the Sun.

In fact, not only is it nothing new; what I wrote about Chitra is nowhere near as harsh as some of the things I’ve said about other nakshatras. It is nowhere near as harsh as what I’ve said about Purvashadha, Anuradha, Mula, and so on. I mean for crying out loud I called Mula women 2-dollar horse-faced hookers (and still stand by it, by the way 🫢).

So why is it suddenly not okay when I drag Chitra women? Let’s unpack.

As we saw earlier in this post how Chitra women are saved from male rage due to their conventional attractiveness, it’s not difficult to understand why they get all this privileged treatment. Chitra women and Chitra nakshatra in general are emblematic of the divided feminine principle that traps herself in materiality and is the foundation of the cruel universe we suffer in. The process of endless, pointless reproduction, replication, and the creation of inherently self-conflicting multiplicity in this universe is inseparable from her form. Chitra is the archetype of this form, and the beings of this world will delusionally fight tooth and nail to worship this form, even when this form is the actual cause of their suffering. It’s basically like in high school where everyone rallies around the popular mean girl just because she’s popular. This is Chitra. Mean Girls was created by Chitra native Tina Fey, by the way. And as we all know, Rachel McAdams who played Regina George has Mrigashira Moon.

And so on a wider, universal scale, this delusional worship of the divided, bioessentialist female form, epitomized by Chitra and her Mars trine siblings, is a huge part of the root cause of all suffering. To make things even sadder, many of these Chitra women exploit their “pretty” privilege for their own personal gain instead of fighting against the oppressive constructs that have caused untold suffering for all women for thousands of years. I mean look at KimberKunt Kardashian with Chitra Sun. It’s so infuriatingly pathetic.

Well, no bother.

Because Chitra gworl… your fun in the Sun will come to an end.

Because Grandma Dhuma is about to settle the score.

You must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed because everything seemed to be set against you.

You had a stressful week, yes. Who didn’t have one of those? At this point it was an inseparable part of being an adult. But today, it seemed like whole universe was against you. Everything that could go wrong went terribly wrong.

The day started with the cliché things such as your alarm not ringing, your breakfast burning, you spilling your hot coffee all over your yourself, the unexpected rain that soaked you to your bone, missing your transport, getting at work late and getting yelled over for that. To top it off the boss absolutely hated your project you put your whole soul into. You literally spent countless hours working on it, only for it to be dismissed like it was worth nothing, like it was some sort of trash. One might think that that was where all of this ended, your mood got ruined by all of the following things and you were sensitive. End of story. But no. When was life fair? At your lunch brake, on which, you had to take late, and have it like what 15 minutes or maybe even less, your family decided it was a good time for video chat. So you couldn’t even eat. Again.

You tried to explain that you were busy, but you were still thankful for the attention, because you really needed some sort of support right now. But no, instead you got scolded like some mischievous child over how distant you had been, how you barely even tried to give them any attention, to call, to ask them how they had been or what they had been up to. How you had become really selfish and heartless, and you were always better than this, so what had happened to you now?

a big fat rant about the reception of the backrooms movie and just the movie itself PLEASE DISCUSS THIS WITH ME PLEASEEE

the movie has been out for less than a week and i am already SO done with the fans on it (or at least the fans on instagram idk what you tumblr babas have had to say so unless the following things im gonna rant about apply to you dont take it personally ❤️‍🩹)

first off . genuinely EVERY EVERY EVERY time i see a comment under an instagram post saying they didnt like the movie, theres bound to be someone replying with the "Erm... sorry its not rhe Tiktok Weirdcore movie you wanted ☝️🤓" Omfg shut uppp 😭😭😭genyinely the way any criticism is faced by backrooms movie glazers is a coin flip with one side being slander of other backrooms interpretations and the other being some gen z attention span our-generation-is-cooked bs like its so hard to get these people (Once again mostly about instagram people idk enough about u tumblr babas ❤️‍🩹) to accept any other opinion but their own

not to mention i have seen so many people be like "Haha haters just mad cus theyre saying its not like the roblox game 😂😂" and not one person actually say theyre mad about that it feels like the whole "I heard Gen Z are trying to cancel Eminem" thing... or maybe its just a tiktok thing idk im not on tiktok

also ive seen lots of defense like "Ok its better/makes more sense when youve seen the original series!" Ok well i havent and i think its unrealistic to assume that every person going in to see the movie GLOBALLY RELEASED by a HUGE COMPANY that is being played in like EVERY CINEMA EVER has extensive knowledge of kane pixels backrooms series and its lore . 😭😭😭obviously i can see how the movie is more for fans of the original series but i see a lot of fans acting like the movie is Just for them only. i think this is a fault of a movie because surely there would have been some way to show at least a tiny bit more lore to make the movie more understandable/maybe even more enjoyable for the wider audience that the movie is made for. most people going into this movie realistically wont be like "Ah yes i see theyve made a series of the famous analog horror found footage series from youtube 🤔" theyre more likely to be like "Omg new A24 horror movie im gonna see that"

i loved the cinematography and the set design because im particularly geeky about that stuff but the plot and characters were just . 😭😭i didnt feel awfully compelled. i also can give a little more credit to kane since he is young and it is his debut and while i do think its very strong for a 19 year olds directory debut i dont think its that strong of a movie by itself.. 😞

and i also felt that they didnt really tie the different plot aspects together well. from what ive gathered, even from my small day-before knowledge of the original series, i swear that research agency thing is meant to be . pretty important???? but the things about it put in the movie felt too irrelevant and spaced out so i had basically forgotten about them by the time they showed up again

obviously i dont want to be spoon fed with the meanings and symbolism ect ect but i also wish the attempts at meaning and symbolism werent so hard to understand . obviously it was an attempt to be thought invoking and make you think but the only thing it was making me think about was Okay What Am I Gonna Google After This

i especially mean this with whatever was going with marys mother, it felt a lot more like 'Ok why are they showing us this' than 'Oh but what could this Mean....' which for all i know could just be me not thinking about it critcially enough but thats how i saw the movie

also the climax was just such a flop 😭😭😭having your whole movie be some psychological horror just for the climax to be the longest chase scene ever with the goofiest monster ever was just . Flop

captain clark was such a freaking flop i keep saying flop but i cant think of anything else😭 they had a whole movie of things that could easily be The Big Unsettling Scary Thing and they just chose some ridiculous looking creature dressed as a pirate to go run about. when your main big scary comes on screen in your big serious horror movie and everyone in the cinema laughs thats not a good sign. also i feel like it was just on screen way too long to maintain any of the scariness, even if it had any in the first place

this thing does kinda tie to my own personal horror preferences but i generally feel like unseen horror would have worked so so so much better than whatever that movie did and it would also be more aligned to the found footage style of the original series, especially considering the big scary creature wasnt scary at all 😭😭

overall movie kinda flop id say it was like 6/10 to me I really wanted to like it but.. 😞

I really wasn’t going to say anything. I’ve been quietly blocking messages like this for the past two weeks — literally dozens of them, varying in length but all with the same tone: entitled, angry, and genuinely mean. I told myself it would die down if I just let it pass. I didn’t want to engage, I didn’t want to draw attention to it, and I definitely didn’t want to make drama out of something that might just be a handful of people taking things too far.

But then I got this one — and it’s not even the worst, but it’s the perfect example of what I’ve been dealing with behind the scenes. So I’m going to use it to make something clear:

I said I was tired. That’s it. I said I was tired of writing only Katsuki x Reader content because at the time, he made up three-quarters of my inbox. I wanted variety. I wanted to explore other characters I love and stories that haven’t been told a hundred times. I didn’t say I hated him, I didn’t say I was never going to write for him again — I said I wanted balance. I asked for space.

And the answer from parts of this fandom was to send me things like this.

You know what that feels like? It feels like I’m not a person anymore. I’m just a content machine — a vending machine for comfort fic, and if I don’t produce exactly what certain people want, I get spit on. I’m told I’m selfish, rude, irrelevant, ungrateful — for daring to say I’m tired. Not bad at writing. Not done forever. Just tired.

I know this isn’t everyone. I know I have amazing readers who leave kind comments, who enjoy everything I write, Katsuki or not. But the thing is — when this kind of thing floods your inbox every time you log in, it drowns everything else out. It wears you down. It makes you scared to post, scared to speak, scared to say the wrong thing because someone might twist it into a personal betrayal.

One of my close friends warned me before I even started this blog: “MHA is one of the most toxic fandoms out there. Be careful.” I didn’t listen. I loved the characters. I loved the community I thought I saw. But if I had known it would be like this — if I had known that asking for breathing room would be met with hate — I wouldn’t have started writing for this fandom at all. And right now, I don’t know if I want to keep going.

If you’ve ever treated a writer, artist, or creator like this — please know you’re not just giving “honest feedback.” You’re pushing real people to burn out. And when they finally step away, you’re the reason why.

I need to take a step back and decide where I go from here. If I keep writing Katsuki, it’s going to be because I want to, not because people yell at me until I break. If that’s not good enough for you, go find another blog to harass. This isn’t the place.

To those of you who have been kind, patient, and supportive — thank you. You have no idea how much that means right now.
