COMPARISON OF DEXMEDETOMIDINE AND CLONIDINE IN COMBINATION WITH BUPACAVINE IN THE SUPRACLAVICULAR BRACHIAL PLEXUS BLOCK | UTTAR PRADESH JOURNAL OF ZOOLOGY
The current research attempted to determine the effects of dexmedetomidine (1 mcg/kg) and clonidine (1 mcg/kg) on 0.375 percent of the supraclavicular brachial plexus block bupivacaine (35 cc). The research aims to associate Clonidine and Dexmedetomidine in the supraclavicular brachial plexus block as an adjuvant to Bupivacaine. The research involved a total of 60 physical condition I and II patients affiliated with the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) between the ages of 18-60 years, scheduled for upper limb elective surgery under the supraclavicular brachial plexus block. When injected with bupivacaine in the supraclavicular brachial plexus block, the presence of dexmedetomidine increases the length of sensory and motor blocks and the duration of analgesia and improves anaesthesia quality.
