Weekend. Making lammingtons, building a rose arch, harvesting. That’s it.
Late June plot shots ans harvest. Sunday baking was a Swiss roll with raspberries from the allotment. Also went sea swimming. Survived the heatwave. Still here.
Plot shots and Sunday baking together in one post today. Beetroot galore and one sad cabbage collected this morning. The cake is a semi-disastrous but delicious pear frangipane galette.
17 August plot shots. Courgettes have slowed down but the beans and raspberries going nuts. Giant sunflowers finally in bloom. Harvested both pumpkins.
First plot shot of the year I think. This stretch of dirt is the only way I can deal with intense anxiety right now. Planted dill, spinach, peas and radishes galore whilst D worked on the paths.
26/10. End of BST and just like that, first frost on the plot. Sunday baking is a matcha almond tart with dark plums.
