I have a plot bunny. AU where Garling tries to keep Magnolia at god valley instead of murdering her. Someone having the idea to store Magnolia and kids in the same building Shakky was locked in. marine misinterpreting Garling's order to keep Magnolia out of the way or Garling feeling a need to be a dick and wanting Magnolia to "meet her competition" or something. Leading to Magnolia and Shakky teaming up to escape. This is inspired by me thinking even if Garling treated Magnolia well instead of canon awful, your version of Magnolia would eventually take the kids and try to leave Garling. Than wondering how fast that could happen. And me also wanting women in one piece to get to do more things.

Shakky: What'd they get you for?

These women are breaking out, each with a baby strapped to their back. Give them some guns. Swords.

Magnolia will totally sigh over Rayleigh coming for Shakky, because that's so sweet. She's not jealous really.

Magnolia would most likely have her latent Conqueror's Haki break out in this situation and that might catch the Roger Pirates' attention enough let her stay onboard.

Like she's definitely going to their ship with Shakky, since Shakky seems to trust Rayleigh and Rayleigh is treating her well. But she's not going to just head off to just raise her kids.

No, no, she wants to stick around. Because these seem like good men for her sons to look up to.

Also, I think Magnolia would be deeply shaken about what happened to God Valley and really not want to be on land or in one place for long. Because God Valley was nowhere, and they still weren't safe. Hell, it was the rulers of the world themselves that destroyed it.

In love is being stupid together, does Clark worry about what Lex is teaching Kon? Lex is teaching that kid it’s ok to ignore people and he can take whatever he wants and Lex will let him and replace it. He’s going to be an awful teen if Lex keeps that up.

Currently, naw, because he is high on baby-brain and also Konnox is only like six weeks/four "years" old, so “don’t let the six week/four year-old draw with Lex’s office supplies and fancy pens”/“don’t let the six week/four year-old steal Lex’s breakfast” is probably not really a concern that would occur to Clark anyway. Ma Kent has installed "food is a love language" in this man from the ground up, and I doubt she and Jonathan were ever the type of parents to complain about their miracle space baby having nondestructive little-kid hobbies.

Like if Lex was drowning the kid in tablet-time and excessively expensive gifts while ignoring/neglecting him emotionally or if Konnox was acting out by destroying things and then expecting/demanding immediate replacements for them and acting out worse if he didn’t get said replacements, those are things that would tweak as definite concerns to Clark even past the baby-brain, but from his current perspective Lex has been spending a TON of time bonding with and doting on the baby, and the baby is just a quiet, chill kid who likes to do quiet, chill things but doesn't really have any social skills yet.

( also lbr, translated through Lex-ese, Lex HAS been bonding with/doting on the kiddo, and Clark knows Lex well enough to know that, hah. )

I mean Lex IS going to be doing his damnedest to raise the clonebaby to just Take What He Deserves, which in Lex's opinion is "literally the entire planet if you actually feel like dealing with that nonsense", don't get me wrong, hahaha, but all the things Clark has seen Konnox annex are things that either belong to specifically Lex ( who is one of Konnox's parents and therefore SHOULD be providing things like food and toys and art supplies for Konnox, in Clark's opinion ), or that clearly came out of an office supply closet ( which, you know, traditionally is full of communal property meant to be taken as needed anyway ).

Also baby is a baby; baby can only be expected to have developed so many manners in six weeks, lol.

Do you think Sephiroth uses purple shampoo?

He does, but purely because it's purple. That inner child of his went 'oooohhhh pretty colour!' and that's why he uses it.

Genesis has been trying to tell him that the reason purple shampoo exists is to help remove yellow tones from the hair so that those who dye their hair can get the dye colour they really want. Meanwhile Sephiroth is just clutching the bottle going 'IT'S PURPLE'.

He had a sorely repressed childhood let him have the cool coloured shampoo god damn it.

Genesis does eventually relent and say 'fine, have the purple shampoo'. Not long after he's buying Sephiroth more of the cool coloured shampoos. But Sephiroth likes the purple one. Purple shampoo good.
