I say why not all of these!

I'm a huge fan of dynamics that grow/change over time. Having things locked into place/static isn't as fun. So Having it be where they're ex-lovers and now rivals makes perfect sense. And have it evolve into something like Lute working at the hotel would be a great development.

Vaggi doesn't hate Lute. She resents her deeply, and feels a myriad of mixed emotions. But seeing her casts off and alone still hurts. So I think she would still want her to have a place to stay, whether Lute really deserved that or not lol.

I like this direction! Lots of room for conflict/head-butting but also possible break-through in the future if the two of them finally communicate. Somehow lol.
