they do & they wish they did not. but barty and sirius could not hide this for the life of them 😭😭 tongues down each other's throats around every corner. remus carries the map around at all times to avoid them. i think in this universe james would start talking to sirius again to be like. please stop dating barty he's horrible to you. and once they're friends again sirius is lying up and down about being 'broken up' with barty which his friends see rightttt through. but they alllll hate their relationship (james because he thinks it's not good for sirius, remus because he wants sirius back, peter because it's causing so much drama/division, everyone else because theyre annoying) and are scheming and plotting to get them broken up
