          luke would probably have been embarrassed if anyone else was around. he’s got a reputation to keep, okay ? if everyone in the galaxy knew how soft he really was, no one would take him seriously. thankfully, that isn’t the case. still, his cheeks turn a light shade of pink at her words and he quickly takes the helmet from her offering hands. “ okay, okay. i’ll wear the helmet. ” he smiles though and leans over to give her a gentle kiss on the cheek. “ i love you, too. ”

The silence that followed her was long…longer than was socially acceptable, but what she said threw him off for a second. “No, uh, not exactly, kid.”

NOT FATHER. okay. there’s a small sigh that leaves her lips and she’ll lean back in her seat. thinking of what to say next. he wasn’t her father, she hadn’t seen her REAL father since she was six, but that didn’t mean she stopped looking, despite the place she had been in now. ❛ oh. not father. ❜ she’ll say quietly and glance over at the man. he couldn’t be bad...he brought her to a safe place. he was good. ❛ are you...going to keep me? ❜
