Riley hummed as he made his way down the hall. Normally, he would stay in the library, it risked less of a chance to be caught by any irritating nobles, but he had recently gained a new coworker. Viren had fired the last physician due to some inconsequential error that he deemed egregious anyways, and that position just got refilled. And from the talk of the other servants, he was pretty easy on the eyes.

So, curiosity dragged him from the safety of his desk and to the door of the infirmary, giving a brief knock before entering into the room. His eyes landed on the younger man instantly and he gave a smirk. Apparently, the rumors held true. “Ah, so you must be the new royal physician, what a wonderful pleasure to meet you.” He greeted, gently grabbing for the man’s hands and bowing to plant a kiss on the knuckles as he looked up at him. “However, for as much as I’ve heard of you, I was never given your name. I’m Riley, and you are?”
