Hello! I just wanted to ask, in your review you said that after you finished the Strangerville story you didn't want to go back and play your x-files sims - would you be able to expand a little bit on why?

Definitely!♡

It wasn’t that I didn’t enjoy the story and everything associated with it - because I really really did. But there are parts of the story that just feel like they drag on. 

There’s a lot of grind associated with “farming” materials and repetitive actions. I easily traveled back and forth between my home lot and the science lab multiple times a day. It wasn’t a big deal on my PC because I have really good load times, but I can see that being an issue for some people.

Ultimately, I just couldn’t bring myself to do that all again so soon after completing the story the first time. Sure, I could’ve cheated my way through some of it. But the idea of that just wasn’t enjoyable to me.

Hello! I hope you're having a fab weekend! I wanted to ask, since you're into true crime stuff, do you have any podcasts/youtube channels/youtube series' you could recommend for listening only and not watching? I like listening to them when I'm editing and as I only have 1 screen I can't watch stuff or I miss things. Thank you!

I hate to be lame, but I honestly don’t watch/listen to a ton of true crime stuff—-the two things I mentioned in this post are pretty much all I’ve gotten into recently. 

honestly….I try not to watch too much true crime stuff, even though I find aspects of it fascinating….bc it’s just so damn depressing and scary tbh. I used to listen to episodes of forensic files while I edited/played/wrote, but I would always feel icky and anxious afterwards, so I stopped. I usually only seek out true crime content when I can devote all my attention to it!

I totally understand wanting to listen to something while you edit tho!! I usually go for youtube videos/documentaries that I’ve watched many times before as some comfortable noise in the background! keeps me feelin positive and productive!
