As Dub enters the lobby, he tries not to think too hard about why his date, Kalani, would want to meet here. On the phone, she said she’s always wanted to visit Champs Les Sims, so that explains why she chose the attached French bistro. Dub decides it’s safer to take her at her word without reading too much into it. Still, he can’t rule out the possibility of them getting a room and staying the night.

He steps inside the bistro and immediately spots Kalani sitting off to the side. He’s already a little late, so he quickens his pace. As he crosses the room, their eyes meet, and a slow warmth spreads through him, pulling him back to the moment he first saw her on the “Blow Out the Candle or Find Love” ** SimTube show. His mouth widens into a smile that matches hers.

Tori Shelton

Tori is her nickname that she goes by. Her full name is Antoria, which is also her simstagram handle. (and somewhere out there, someone is going ohhhhhhhhhh! lol)

She is from Evergreen Harbor, and her mother is from Henford. They (she and her older brother) used to spend summers there at their grandparents farm. That's where she developed a love for fishing.

Brown is not her natural hair color, but it is her favorite color. She's a sew-in girlie.

She worked as a paralegal while she was in law school and quickly realize it wasn't the law she loved but the lifestyle it would afford her once she became a lawyer. So when her ex-husband (an investment banker) proposed and said she didn't have to work anymore, she dropped out and quit her job without batting an eye.

Working in and studying the law, her world was filled with facts and finding the truth. One thing that both frustrated and endeared her about Nate was his ability to live in this idealistic world of his own making where everything always works out.

Bonus! She's cheerful and loves sweets.

Nathaniel Pierson

He doesn't let it out much, but Nate very much has an inner geek, and those days of beating Mel at whatever game they played when he was a child are far from over.

Like Melany and Kameron, Nate is pretty frugal. Hold on...let me rephrase. When it comes to his OWN money, he is very frugal lol. He will spend the heck out of your money.

Nate is very smart, but he struggled in school because of the environment. The lecture style setup doesn't suit him. He would have done better in a more hands-on environment.

Despite what Tori thinks of him, he's not an idealist at all. He's practical, bold, and a little daring and defiant, so he basically just does stuff and expects it to work out lol.

Nate makes a great lifeguard because he makes quick decisions and is great at thinking on his feet, but also is very affable and makes connections everywhere. (his social panel is ridonkulous)

He's worn glasses for nearly 50 years, and has never bothered with contacts. Glasses gave him something to hide behind as a shy young man on the international diplomacy circuit, and he was later advised that small, round glasses had become his signature.

He's referenced his estranged sister, Olivia, a few times, but so far, we've only seen her in flashbacks -- she'll show up in the present in the near-ish future.

His relationship with Elise was serious from the beginning. In their engagement interview, he famously said that he'd made up his mind to marry her on their second date.

In his younger years, he was a distance runner. He became the first royal to run the famous Brüda Marathon in April 1993, finishing in a respectable three hours and fifty-two minutes. He is the royal patron of the Brüda Athletic Association, which hosts the marathon, and passing out medals to the winners is one of the few annual engagements he seems to enjoy.

Privately, he congratulates himself on doing such a good job concealing his favoritism toward Rosalind.

I went uhhhhh pretty existential with my first attempt at answering this so let me try again and simply say yes! and give you some examples:

I can absolutely relate to Octavia’s world-weary pragmatism

I was an art school kid like Tyler, also a cutie in glasses 🤓

we’re still getting to know them but Cherry is funny but like in a mean way and uh yeah I do have that tendency especially as a teen oh lord
