Hey, I was thinking about that basketball size thing you reblogged yesterday. Somehow it doesn't sit right with me, because it seems to assume that transpeople don't exist and that all men have larger hands than women? This isn't an attack, I was just sort of more wondering if you had an opinion on whether it seems to ignore trans people.

I was actually thinking about that too! It’s not just basketballs either. Rather, the sports world as a whole seems to be extremely gendered. On the one hand I can understand how adapting to different bodies can be important, especially since sports used to be played by men and that saying “everyone must manage to use these standarts we won’t change” would be pretty unfair. But on the other hand, yeah, it totally assumes everyone is cis since it associates body differences with gender...

I don't have anything I particularly want to see translated, but I DO have a bunch of stuff I'd like to know how it's pronounced. Would you be willing to do recordings of you pronouncing stuff? I do understand "Non" and "Oui," so you don't have to break the point of Speak Your Own Language Day in order to respond.

Hum, I don’t really like my voice and I hate to hear recordings of it so I don’t really feel like letting all my followers hear it... and I don’t even know if I actually HAVE a mic, I’d need to check... but if I do, maybe I could pronounce some stuff just for you ? ^^ It wouldn’t be today though (answering with plain “oui” and “non” would sounds rude and cold, I’d rather elaborate and translate afterwards ^^)
