Okay but imagine Mac as a villain who kidnaps you, a young monarch of their enemy kingdom to get something out of your parents. Though they don't put you in a cage or anything they just... Give you a room and of course they feed you. You're just not allowed to leave their castle. Though they at first ignored your presence after all you're just a pawn for their scheme however one day you decided to approach them. They didn't you push you or anything they decided to listen what you have to say.

They start to know you better, realizing that you're quite interesting. They could hear you go on and on about your interests. After all they're quite lonely with no family or allies... So of course they take an interest in you. They start giving you gifts (however most of their gifts is a bunch of land...) and letting you roam more around the castle. They talk about their own interests and you two start getting more and more closer.

So they decided that instead of the land from your parents that they would like your hand in marriage! But your parents already have another suitor waiting for you...

But not for long...

Some Mac angst that has been plaguing my mind. Might make it into a oneshot.

Imagine something is wrong with your computer you know that means something is wrong with Mac. You use the dateviators to check up on them but you watch as they're less energetic, more sluggish, barely speaking. You beg with them to tell you what is wrong so you can fix them. You managed to fix them only temporarily but their state is getting worse. You grew more and more desperate. You called for repairmen, kept looking things up, but nothing. Nothing seems to work. One thing you have left is to realize Mac and maybe just maybe they can get better after you realize them... So you started try working your way to that goal, unintentionally ignoring Mac in the process.

Then when the time has come you use your dateviators on Mac. No response. You start panicking and pleading. Apologizing for ignoring them because you were trying to help them. Nothing. You notice that it wasn't them trying to ignore you, they were just too far gone that they couldn't answer. You noticed that your computer couldn't turn on, you became even more desperate with each attempt. The last thing you hear is their voice.

"I love you."

Then nothing.

They are no longer in the Date-a-dex. You can no longer speak to them. And the last reminder you have of them is the broken down pc.

Has anyone made an obsessive Mac who knows everything about you? And I don't mean just your internet history, schedules, etc. I mean EVERYTHING. Your blood type, your dental records, your health records, what every little thing you like, your social security number, your birth certificate, your credit card number, etc.

Because they are your computer. They will know that since everything got digitalised. Has someone made an au of a Stalker Mac who casually reminds you of your doctors appointment despite not telling them this information. Obsessive Mac who has a list of potential organ donors for you just in case. Obsessive Mac who has a list of people in a 10 mile radius who has your blood type. How did they get this information? Who knows!

Obsessive Mac who has your criminal records (if you do have them) as like another one of their trophies of you. Obsessive Mac who keeps track of your breathing just in case (okay this might be going a bit overboard...) Obsessive Mac who reminds you that you should get vaccinated again because of course they have those records.

HAS ANYONE WRITTEN THIS BEFORE OR SOMETHING SIMILAR? Please? Do I have to make this come to be?

Imagine this. Corrupt Detective Mac and Criminal Reader.

Whenever they're at a scene and realize that this was your doing they will cover up your crimes while adding red herrings and maybe framing someone. When they come home to you greeting them and asking how their day at work was as you two kiss they look into your eyes and tell you that next time you should be more careful

"My love, next time use thicker gloves. You left partial fingerprints on scene."

To which you would apologize and explain you were in a hurry because the cops were called. They would always give you updates on cops and detective schedules as you give them names and locations of other criminals on your terf.

Sometimes you would leave little love notes for them to find as they uncover your next crime. It lightens up their day and they bring the note home to which you would smile upon seeing the note

"Hey you found it!"

You will murder anyone that has upset Mac or is getting in their way of any opportunities and when you come home all bloodied you will just tell them that the person won't bothering them anymore as they strip your clothes off to help clean you up.

Now if someone bothers you they will find a way to frame them for one of your crimes probably earning that person life in prison. Killing two birds with one stone basically.

No one and I mean no one suspects that you're a criminal or that Mac is even the slightest bit corrupted. You two have amazing reputations in the community. Mac is basically a hero to the community while you're basically a philanthropist donating (stolen) money to charities.

Consider tsundere Mac.

Maybe it's a co-worker au, college au, or just plain ol' DE universe. But to make things make sense college au. Wouldn't it be neat if they acted as though you were stupid for every tech question you asked yet for some reason they are always the one to jump first to help you with your stupid tech question. Oh the others who can help are gone and begrudgingly they are the only one there. It's not like they sent them away or anything just to get closer to you noooo they wouldn't do that.

Why is it taking so long? Well you obviously won't know anything (even if you are tech savy and figure out the problem beforehand) stop asking questions and just hang out! No they aren't excited whenever you come by for help or even challenge them, outrageous.

And sureee you maybe better in SOME classes and you genuinely impress them with your smarts but it's not like they like you or anything.

Oh the game they got you? It was just a hand me down, they found it in a garage sale, they found it in the dump, it just materialized in their hand! It's just a coincidence that it is the game you want. Just take it and stop asking questions! It's not like they researched what your favorite game series is and waited in line to get it for you. No. Why would they do that for you out of all people? But the smile and hug you gave them was worth everything...

Why do they hate you? Well isn't it obvious!? Your stupid charming smile... Your stupid personality... your... your captivat- stupid eyes. No they aren't imagining what's like to be with you or a future wedding... Just don't ask why your last name is written next to their name in their notebook... It's nothing. sTOP ASKING!

Oh they got an extra bag of your favorite chips from the vending machine? Well I guess you can have the extra bag since it is your favorite... You just got lucky that's all! Don't ask why they're missing an extra dollar it's nothing!

Okay wait my last post gave me a silly idea. Imagine you and Mac are on a date and then you suddenly phase out of reality which of course panics Mac but you do come back randomly as if nothing happened or you're just looking around with wide eyes because you don't know what the fuck just happened.

FWB Mac who was the first to suggest being FWB. At first it has been amazing but then they slowly started to realize that they want more than that.

You talking about people you've been on dates with as Mac sits there in agony because they felt as though they ruined their chance at actually being in a relationship with you. Sure you two have AMAZING sex but that's it. They want to be the one taking you out on those dates, they want to be the one you talk about with that spark in your eyes, they want to be the one to grow old with you.

Each time they fuck you the more rougher and kinky it gets because they have to take their anger out some way! You love it and they also love it but also they want to be more sensual with you, be the one who takes care of you afterwards, but nope. It's in and out. They wish they can cover you in hickies to claim you. They wish that you leave your mark on them but you can't. It was on the one rule in the relationship is to not leave any marks.

They wish they can find the words to confess. They always flirt but you think it's playful. They always try to insinuating something more but you just never got the hint! God were you always this oblivious or are you just trying to let them down nicely? Maybe they're just not trying hard enough? Maybe they just need to be more direct?

They're usually not the jealous type but whenever you talk about a current crush all they do is just scoff. Are you really lowering your standards? Can't you see that you are out of that person's league? How come you can't see that they're the one for you!

Then you just broke off the FWB situation, asking to be just friends after you got into a relationship with someone. Mac was hurt from this. Their only way to be closer to you has been closed off. They tried forgetting about their feelings for you by dating or just having night stands with random people but they couldn't get into the mood because it wasn't you. All they could think about during those moments was you. Some part of them hoped you got jealous by them sleeping with someone else or dating someone. You ruined them.

All they could do is just scowl at your partner who barely knows anything about you! That person isn't compatible! What are you doing!? You don't deserve to put yourself through this!

Now they just wait until your partner breaks it off with you in hopes that they can finally FINALLY confess to you...

Some ideas/headcanons I had for the fire fighter reader and Mac.

(Inspired by 9-1-1)

Mac loves seeing you in your uniform. You would sometimes send some pics of yourself at the fire station to them because you know it gets them going. Hell you were able to sneak off and make a little thirst trap photo for them. They deserve it after all.

You two have those bracelets that lets you communicate through touch. This is just so if they ever feel worried about your 24 hour shifts you can just send a little touch just to tell them that you're okay and alive.

Mac knows a lot of nurses and doctors due to the fact you and other members get hospitalized a lot... It got to the point where the receptionist sees them and just lets them in.

When you come home you tell them about the crazy stories and some of your rescues. They listen intently while massaging your shoulders because they want to ease your stress.

Mac doesn't use the word 'quiet' anymore due to the fact you get jumpy whenever it's said around you.

Whenever you walk outside of your shared home and notice the cloudy skies you immediately run back in and give Mac a big hug and some kisses because rain means a stressful day.

You love talking about Mac to your teammates who start teasing you. Of course your captain will tell them to knock it off but sometimes they will join the teasing on a rare ocassion.

Sometimes there are those days where you couldn't save someone in time and you would just come home to Mac and they will immediately realize something bad happened and open their arms and let you cry into them as they comfort you.

You set your alarm 30 minutes early than the time you usually get ready just so you can spend those 30 minutes in bed with Mac. Though even with those 30 minutes you just don't want to let go but you begrudgingly get up to get ready.

When a natural disaster happens you tend to panic internally while you're on call because you know how strained emergency services can get and oh god what happens if Mac got hurt? Mac also tends to be stressed during natural disasters because of how dangerous they are for first responders. Of course this is one of the main reasons you guys got the bracelets.
