Work in progress. The character is now fully rigged, but I need to do some fine tuning. Currently, the outfit feels a bit too basic, so I’m exploring some new designs to add more personality.

I seen @quezify had commissions and while I can draw whatever I asked myself who I didn’t have fan art of that I wanted. Mimi Bobek from Drew Carey!
(She’s loud, fat, slutty and unashamed. It’s on plex in the us or 🏴☠️).
They did such a cool job I just love it. Wanted to shout out to them just incase u were like hey should I buy a commission from them? Yes you should
One Last Stop won the BOTM poll for Plus Size Book Club!
I will be posting a pre-reading post in the community page and towards the middle to end of month, I will post a post-reading tab. You are free to read and talk about other books with plus size protagonists in the community tab as well.
A few other recommendations I have received with plus size queer romances are:
- My Best Friend’s Honeymoon (+18, wlw/nblw)
- House in the Cerulean Blue Sea (+12, mlm)
- Out of the Blue By Jason June (+14, mlm)
- Patience and Esther by SW Searle (18+, wlw)
- Breeze Spells and Bridegrooms By Sarah Wallace and SO Callahan (age group unknown, mlm)
- Falcon and the Foe by AJ Truman (18+, mlm)

Comfort movie glazing moment incoming
If there's one thing I can especially praise Help I'm A Fish (2000) for, it's definitely how they portray their plus sized characters. Most precisely Chuck & his mother Anna.
You'd probably expect a good handle of fat jokes from a kid's flick, especially one made in the 90s, then released in the early 2000s at that, but surprisingly, there's none to be found in this one.
Granted, there are some moments where they're kind of the butt of some jokes (Ex: when Chuck turned into a jellyfish or when Stella scribbled makeup all over Anna's face when she slept), but it's never because of their weight. They don't have the stereotypical characteristics where they love to eat (only the voracious Shark is depicted as such), they don't fart, they aren't dumb, etc.
Instead they're both treated like actual people & respected as equals by the other characters in the story instead of punchlines.
You'd expect Anna to be a pushy entitled Karen™, but really, she's just understandably very protective of her only son, whom she loves very much and visibly has a psychic connection to. She even takes accountability for letting the children run past her supervision & joins the other parents in their search when the police won't do their jobs.
Chuck does indeed fit the nerdy stereotype and is totally a mama's boy, but earns an proper arc where he learns that it's good to take risks once in a while, and even carries the third act of the film when he takes matters into his own hands... or tentacles, in that case.
Yeah, just wanted to praise this movie for it idk
One of the things I hate most is when people say that me telling readers that my FMC is plus size or POC, is me making their plus-sizeness or POCness their entire personality in lieu of having an interesting plot or world.
I tell readers because I want plus size and poc rep in fantasy books, and I want them to see that stories are including them and that people with their body types and skin color deserve to be the center of a story. And you will not stop me.
Debu to Love Ayamachi to!
Is getting an anime adaption!

Todo is a character from the anime and manga series Hunter x Hunter. He became known through the Hunter Exam Arc.
Well-known... What am I saying? Todo doesn't seem to be well-known in the fan community. Nobody even talks about him or even gossips about him. Tonpa at least gets some attention in a negative sense, but Todo... Todo is completely ignored. Even the fat fetishists ignore him. Is he really so uninteresting that nobody even gossips about him?
Even Yoshihiro Togashi doesn't stand by Todo. One also get the feeling that he is embarrassed by the Gourmet Hunter part. In his current drawing on X, where all the characters from the Hunter Exam Arc are listed, Menchi, Buhara and Todo are missing.
I don't know what's worse, being ignored or being gossiped about or having jokes made about him?
So f🤬u
