Okay so I been tulpamancy and I'm autistic..... I'm not sure if I'm slowly breathing in and out right. I hope I'm doing this right. (I never get quite time at my home, that bothers me) I wishy tulpa is with me
As long as you're still conscious, you're fine. If you lose consciousness, you've slowed your breath too much! /j 😜
In all seriousness, I'm not really sure what guide you're reading. Breathing exercises aren't something I notice in a lot of them, but with most mediation, I think the breath isn't so much about the breathing itself as it is giving yourself something else to focus on to calm your mind better.
That is, I probably wouldn't worry about doing it "right."
Personally, I prefer passive forcing anyway, talking to your tulpa as you go about your day over the active forcing based on meditation. Both can be useful and have their place, but... I don't know. I was made by my host talking to me while we walked together every day. We didn't start meditating until after I was already here. That doesn't work for everyone, but it does show that strict meditation isn't necessary if it's something you struggle with.
